I had that once. Alright. What you wanna do is make a commission list until you reach enough money to buy a tablet, order it, then once you have it, draw the pre-ordered commissions that allowed you to take it.
Working on a bunch of commissions that were paid some time ago is kind of a morale hit but it can be an excellent way out still. I did it once.

Well, for the cintiq, is it possible to have SAI open on a separate monitor as well as the cintiq? Because if so, you could probably just look at the separate monitor for whenever you need to make your color selections.

Hmm, so does the cintiq act like a second monitor then? Like, are you able to drag things over from between the two? Because, it might not be optimal, but perhaps you could drag SAI over to the other monitor for whenever you need to select colors. Again, I'm not sure if that would work though, as I've never used a cintiq before. :p
