Some may have noticed the slow trickle of new pages and such the last month or so, there was a good reason for that... I was incredibly sick. when you have cancer your immune system is basically compromised and unfortunately a flu or cold that would take a few days normally to get over becomes a 3-4 week ordeal. during this three week assault on my body I lost ten pounds , I collapsed several times due to exhaustion and one of those times I smashed my teeth and lost two of my front teeth. sadly, i simply can't afford to get it fixed so, i'll have to live with it.

I stopped getting radiation treatments last month and will be going next week to see if I need to continue them into the new year after another blood test (i'm hoping not) Currently, i'm feeling fantastic. I may not look it but, I feel like my old self for the first time in a long time and am excited to be able to bring you all new stuff sooner or later.

I'm finishing up on Lagomorpha (including re-drawing the first 10 pages for the TPB) and starting work on my new project which i'll hope to have started in February/ March. In February you'll get a Valentines Changes strip, new pages of Swimmer and you'll be able to pre-order the Lagomorpha TPB, Ultimate Changes Collection (which includes Complete Changes & "More" Changes vol's 1-3+ Changes Remastered) and "More" Changes vol. 7 which collects the entire court case story line.

I'm going to TRY to be at more conventions as well this year once I know my energy level will allow me to go to them. the only for sure con i WILL be at will be Anime North currently but, more will be added to the list no doubt.

As some of you saw, the new 3-issue Ninja High School Mini-series I co-wrote, Ninjas Vs Aliens was solicited in Diamond Previews (order # JAN161067) and you can order it from your local comic shop, right now! I hope you'll give it a go it's a lot of fun. If you can't get it from your local comic shop i'll have copies available in April.

i'm having some fun making new items for cons too so expect to see new posters, postcards, chibi stickers, and more.

I may have cancer but i will not let it stop me from doing what i love even though it may knock me down a few pegs here and there.
