So, Furlandia doesn't have an art show :/

Welp, after scouring the con website and emailing the chairman, I have come to discover that Furlandia will not be having an art show this year. Unfortunately, the main reason I was planning on going was so I could have some pieces in another show before next FC.. so I guess I'm not gonna be going after all :/ this is a huge bummer because I was really looking forward to getting to meet some people and spending some time in the pacific Northwest, but I just don't really think it's worth it anymore.
Instead, I will be driving down to LA for califur in June. They will definitely be having an art show, so I'll have a chance to offset the cost a bit. Plus it's about the same distance to drive. I'm sorry to the people I was planning on meeting at Furlandia, things just didn't work out so well. If they end up having an art show next year, it's likely I will attend.. but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Hopefully the organizing committee learns what a boneheaded mistake this is... Do you know if this is the first year there hasn't been an art show?

I'm not sure. I know it is a very new con, this is only their third year. And they don't have much of a following yet, so it could just be that they didn't really have enough artists to fill a show... But I dunno, I still feel like they should lol

I know right? I guess it might be because they've got RF and FC pretty close on either side, but they'll probably gain a larger following as time goes on.

I know, I'm sorry this keeps not working out X( I was really looking forward to it too, I just was really wanting a chance to sell some more art before next FC :/
