Let's see. As far as news goes, I got new fish after my sad new year beginning with Mike and Mason dying. I have seven new Tiger Barbs and they're called (as a collective) Harvard. Maid is still alive and is...getting bigger kinda? He's grown a lot from the small bottom feeder I first got. Still as cute as ever though :3
I found a ranch that's about 30mins away (as long as it's not rush hour) that I'm considering taking classes at, as well as a potential leasing agreement. But that wont be until I'm comfortable with myself to be left by myself and to be able to accomplish adult things like taking care of large animals. I just need to put in my schedule change for work still so that, if I do lease, then I'll have those days off for sure. I'm a little scared to start up again, since it's been a REALLY long time, but I want to do it. This isn't just a hobby for me, I feel it in every part of my being that I need to be around that environment. I just think that my anxiety has gotten worse over the years is all...
I've been in a weird art mood. Haven't wanted to draw serious stuff, or seriously detailed pictures. Might be because I finally caught up on Steven Universe and hot damn I love Garnet so much. If anyone is reading this, you should expect a few more Steven Universe Furry pictures coming up still. I just haven't wanted to do digital stuff with it because I get into a different mind set when I work on digital works. Like, they need to be PERFECT in digital, I tend to nit-pick more, as well as my line work needs improvement in it. Where as with traditional my only hold back is the lack of a reality version of ctrl+z
Going to feed a big cat soon with my mom, it was a present for myself because I thought it would be cool, and she mentioned it to my dad later. So my dad and I split the cost for the second ticket, and when she's not dying anymore we'll go. So that should be exciting. I'll definitely post pictures and stuff because fucking Lions, Tigers, and Bears man.
Saving up for Califur since the beginning of this year, $50 a paycheck for Califur, and $50 for basic savings. If I calculate correctly, I should have around $600 for con which will be nice. I know at least $150 will go to room (which goddamn the rooms this year are absolutely fucking fabulous like fucking yes a MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM THANK YOU! I am bringing so many microwave dinners), so that'll leave me with $450 to do with whatever the hell I want to buy or do at Con itself. Hell yeah!
Speaking further of Califur, I'll be working on con art soon, always will be the unofficial art slave. Which I don't mind, it's fun and nice to help the con out. On another note for art, I need to bug my friend
bromister and throw my stilts at him because we need to get this furred and it's probably going to be the BIGGEST pain. I'll need to get my tail done soon too.
Might as well make it it's own point now, fursuit stuff that needs to get done is Thyme's face redone because her dark blue was a little too short. Still thinking about re-applying her tongue...if I still have it. If I don't well, nothing was lost. Stilts need to get furred and zippers and shit. Tail needs to get done, which I might just do a skinny something. Arm's need the elastic sewn to the sleeves so I can just wear it as arms. Which funny enough I actually really like wearing just the arms. The silicone paw pads are nice and the furry arms are just fun. The head is nice, and the partial as a whole is nice, but my favorite part of the costume is just the arms forever.
