This is p much what I do. I'm quite asexual myself but do enjoy drawing and looking at porn. So I have a strict porn character, then a clean personal character.

I can't even lie...this idea appeals to me greatly. Especially because I feel like a more neutral character would both be easier to work with, and be easier on the eyes. (No offense Crimes bby, ilu!)

Haha yeah. My new main is a spider and she's realistically not porn friendly. I actually have like 4 characters that I use for porn. :> Just do what you are comfortable with! Especially with a character that is so near and dear to you. <3

It's less about me being uncomfortable, as it is wanting to keep things more...consistent I guess? Porn doesn't bother me. I'm a p. sexual person lol.
While I want to keep Crimes' image more consistent, I also feel weird about using a new character that has 0 attachments to me (at first) to be used in personal adult pics with my bf.

Make him make a new porn character too? Hmm, though you'd have to BOTH get used to and slightly attached to make it have some personal feelings toward it then...

Welp, personally i can say that regardless of the content i enjoy seeing your artwork and art featuring Crimes, she has such a loveable design and all.
But i can definitely relate to being really close to your character you feel is your personal identity. I've been going with my sona for over seven years now and I'm really attached to him in that way because of how personal he is to me. Hell even most of my friends irl tend to call me Jet as opposed to my real name. XD

When it comes down to having your personal character in porn though, well i know its not much help to say but it really does depend on how one feels. Like I personally have no issues wiht it for me but i know a couple people that prefer to not be in images like that. To each their own, as they say.

If you are looking to make a new character for porn situations though, I do have one suggestion that might help make the character feel more personal or help build an attachment to them a little more easily. Perhaps you and your bf could come up with a concept for a character together and perhaps that might establish a bond with the character a little bit more easily. Give em a bit of a deeper meaning or something like that. Tis just a suggestion though. Sorry if i wasn't all that helpful. ^^;

That makes more sense than my other comment about him making character. Both contributing things you both like would make it much more attached.

I agree with you about this Crimes, Jossur is personal to me in a way that I think would relate to how you feel about Crimes and unless I REALLY care about the other person wont put him in a picture of that sort with anyone

Even I have a couple SFW-only characters.

I recycled an old char of mine and she is strictly used for NSFW whereas my main character is used only in clean art , I find it works for me ^^

I would make a new character. Dont get me wrong I love seeing Crimes in those pics you do. But its more what you feel comfortable. The other thing is you dont have to kep Crimes completly out of porn. If you feel like drawing her in porn go ahead. You dont have to limit yourself. I kinda see Crimes as a free spirited type of kind of character who does what she wants, sexual or not. Thats my thought on it. Sometimes you just gotta switch it up.

At the end of the day it's up to you. I like seeing Crimes in porn but it's not going to affect my interest if she isn't. I generally use some of my more precious characters for porn but usually in a limited capacity since they do have sex, but not with anyone.

I like Crimes anthro form but they are two separate issues both of which you are free to determine. I think that if you want to create a porn character the connection will come at some point.

For what it's worth, I'm fine either way. You're art is good, and I like the design you have for Crimes, sexual, feral, or otherwise. If it's personal, only have porn of you and your mate, or even just FOR you and your mate. No one worthwhile will hold that against you. At least, I won't.

if it represents you, then the porn you have crimes in also represents you. think about it like that. i personally wouldnt have my sona in porn because thats not me. im not saying i hate sex or anything. but thats just not what i want to associate my sona with, and my sona is me. id say make a new one for porn and keep crimes clean xx my input

To answer your question, I do like seeing any and all furry characters in porn if available. But it's your decision, not ours.

I do not have characters specifically for porn or sfw, any characters I make will feature in both if possible, and I do not feel uncomfortable about it. The only discomfort I have is figuring out what to draw or who to draw. But that's me. I haven't felt too motivated to draw lately, and I often question what the point of posting is, if people barely are interested in it, tho in furaffinity, it seems to attract at least some attention. It's easy to say "draw for myself" but psychology is a bit more complex than that.
