• What is the name of your fursona?
Albi Gryph

• Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
Well, her name actually came from my "online alias", which is also "Albi". I got that name from hanging around online in the early years of AOL and online chat and game rooms. I had this beautiful image of an albino gryphon in mind for a story I wanted to write, and tried to use the name "albinogryphon" as a log in which.. was obviously taken. So I smashed the two words together into "albigryph" instead and ended up using that as an online name for the longest time. Chatting with strangers online ended up shorting the name to "Albi" as a quick-call nickname and it stuck. :3

• What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
Albi is a gryphon.. a Rainbow Wing Gryphon, to be exact; which is a species I designed nearly 15 years ago? It's been a whiiiile. I didn't always identify with my gryphons.. I used to draw myself as some sort of canine, be a wolf or fox or dog-like creature.. eventually I got a little birdy, as a "Caniph", a bird/fox species I'd designed. But in the end I just felt most comfortable with the Gryphons I had spent so much time dreaming and writing about.. so I went full gryph in late 2014.

• What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eye/ect
She's mostly white.. pretty much all white except for her wings, which are rainbow colored (hence her species name). I've always been attracted to the color white.. it's just so pristine and pretty, and sort of enchanting in a way. Her paw pads are pink and her eyes are blue only because those colors are typical of white-furred animals. Guess I wanted to keep some realism to her, despite the fact she's a creature of fantasy.

• What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Albi is pretty close to myself. She's a little bit goofier, and a little bit more fearless than I am... Unlike myself, she doesn't really suffer from social anxiety and will pretty much talk to anyone. Always peppy and happy, always jabbering on about something. Super excitable. She's basically me on a "good" day with close, trusted friends. :3

• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
Nothing? I.. only have a few items that are really treasured, and Albi doesn't have any of them. She doesn't really carry around stuff with her.

• What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
Who's a pretty birb?

• What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?
Really? We finally get the chance to meet and THAT'S your opening line?

• How has your fursona changed over the years?
As stated, I started out as an ever-changing canine of sorts.. usually a brown/greyish-brown and white mutt. Then I tried on the "Caniph" fox/bird for a little while, and then finally found my home as a Rainbow Wing.

• How long have you had this fursona?
A year? I'm not really sure. It hasn't been that long.

• Would you like to be more like your fursona?
Absolutely. She's basically the me that I wish I could be.. no social anxiety, a little more willing to talk to people and try new things. The better version of me that I'm not sure I could ever actually achieve.
