Inquiring on a BLFC table to partially share. please read!
Heya guys! so my only other con planned for this year besides Rainfurrest (local) is BLFC. I want to go and not try and sell .
BUT I can't deny it'll be difficult to have a good time the whole span of time on a limited budget.
I'm wondering if anyone has been accepted for a table. and might have space on your table for the following!
I will pay half of your table cost. and give you a portion of every sale of mine you make. I'd probably rather divvy out a portion of each item that makes sense than do a percentage.
so like, 10 cents on every 50 cent button
25 cents on every $1 button
$20 on every $70 dino blank (on sale at con!!!)
$1.50 out of $6 on every pony skull keychain.
various prices on painted dino blanks or if there is a possibility of a finished mask display.
or at the end of the con figure out the total and give you a percentage of everything together. 20% perhaps.
You are welcome to haggle with me on pricing! / discuss! I can also trade up front items for space as well! ^_^
I do not plan on sitting behind the table hence the percentage of sales! I really want to actually do some suiting this time! I will be happy to check on you regularly and see if you need anything though! :) run errands for you while you are at your table. but I can also be a table assistant if you'd chose. Just know I really want to have fun this year. I just will need to make SOMETHING while there.
what I'd like to maybe have on a table
*buttons
*dino blanks. painted and unpainted. you can display like one of each on the table really and have extras in a bin so it shouldn't take up too much space.
*my little pony skull keychains. That is all I really know right now.
all just small stuff besides the dino blanks! I'd let you know what I'd want to have as I come up with it. but yes all small stuff. maybe art. maybe some prints. who knows.
if you're really down I might be able to display a fursuit head there for sale too! but if that's too much really it's no big deal. Yes if I'm not there helping you I will give you a small cut of the fursuit sale were it to happen.
if I get multiple offers I'll most likely choose an artist I know! if no offers I understand Xb I am just inquiring.
and I realize I could just get an art alley table. I'd rather try this first thank you!

> I might be able to display a fursuit head there for sale too
If anything that'll really help draw people to the table! People gravitate towards the fursuit tables, haha.
But if my idea for armor and accessories for fursuiting works out, I would be looking for a fursuit maker or two to partner with at dealer's tables.
I do not make fursuits, and the only ones I may make would be for myself, so there wouldn't be any sense of competition.
And being able to drape a displayed head in metal armor and jewelry made for the purpose of going on a suit would be quite a draw, I think.
But that is for the future.
This year I am working on just getting to a few events again, now that I am physically recovered enough to do so.

My armor bits would really need to be displayed on a suit or head for the right impact, and I might do something like a rotating table share with several makers, depending on who is going to what con.
they would definitely attract a lot of attention to the fursuit maker's table that has them to drape over their own work.
Icing for the cake, you might say.
However it works out, and with whom, I definitely see it as a symbiotic and mutually beneficial relationship for sales.
I don't think my work would do well on a table by itself though.
Its the kind of thing that really needs to be shown in context for people to properly appreciate it.
