Do people even read journals?
Hello watchers of the furry kind!
Do you all read journals ? I usually use this as a way to spread updates and information. People have complained "Oh I did not know you were open" even though it was noted that this venue is what tips you off(still unsure if it gives you notifications via Email but I know it is through the top part of the FA page and/or drop down menu.)I want to ensure that everyone is able to see updates and come up with ways I can do this more effectively now that I am on this new account.

I read most of them, but I rarely respond.
But I always for friends.
When I do not read journals: Plenty of FA journals are sob stories about poor life choices and online pan handling, and I of course delete those without reading them. Also, if I didn't check for more than a day and there's a pile of 20 or more journals, I will probably clear them all without reading any since most journals are time sensitive content.
I don't read journals like "I am so emo cause someone unwatched me".
Garbage titles = not reading it.

Where to Find Me
__________ (rant)
Anything that tells me if it applies to me and the general subject matter.
Short is good, but accurate and informative is better.
Really bad subject lines:
Read Me!
There's a thing
!*%^%^#%
This is stupid
Also, changing your icon on the old account to say "Moved Account" or something similar can help those who wander to your page later on. They can then click a link in your profile to take you to the new one.
You are unlikely to get 100% of your watchers to move over. Depending how long you've been collecting them, some may not visit FA anymore, or have moved to new accounts of their own. Some may also have an overwhelming amount of notifications and may miss your announcements.
I also only reply when I feel like it's necessary to say something.
