Weasyl isn't necessarily any better sadly. At this point in time, it's like picking a web browser. Pick your poison.

Firefox is free/libre software, and works very well, so it's what I use, and recommend.
FA is definitely dated, and unstable, but why is Weasyl just as bad? Is IB better? I like DA, but I know they don't like anything explicit.

I could elaborate on the problems that all web browsers currently share, but I would be getting into programming/security theory lol.

Weasyl has it's own problems, one is how some of the staff have acted towards the community. It might be considered 'better' but I was personally burned pretty bad by staff, especially when it was -their- faults. You aren't ever going to find a perfect site, but I fear when it comes to 'staff issues' weasyl might not be any better than FA in the end.

I'll bite; why don't you like modern browsers?

Don't want to clutter up the post X3 but point in short - webkit. Anything based on the webkit architecture is inherently insecure, due to things such as an identifier that identifies your particular browser (Makes for easier targeted attacks). Theres hope for the future, but I still have found I need to use more than one browser -daily- to get my work done (Especially if there is any programming involved).

I wish there were easy answers to all this.

Workers not being paid exists everywhere, with that said this is no good. But to me, as someone who just posts art, changes nothing at all. If I were to get angry about how shitty the sites I surf every time I would end psycho. I'm sorry for the dude and he should take legal action, but I see no real threat towards common users.

I am not the least bit suprized....

But this is the wrong place to ask for help, no one around her cares how bad off you are that has money.... the only people that care are in just as bad if not worce situations
