LATE MFF 2015 CON REPORT

Best. Birthday. Ever. (Forgive me, for I don’t remember a lot past friday night. It was pretty cray. also weed 2 stronk.)WednesdayGot up and ready with everything packed as mom drove me to the airport. Got through the line fine and didn’t have long to wait before boarding the plane and taking off! Was a short hour flight to Midway, where I gathered my belongings and after a little confusion getting through the airport, met up with 
! It was a sweet reunion, having not seen that guy since FWA. <3 He helped me get my stuff to his car and before we knew it, we were off! About an hour later, we arrived at the Hilton! Ended up finding our other roomie 
and got her stuff to Rocky’s car. The three of us then headed over to Hyatt where I ended getting my first suit hug of the con from Rocko! Soon after I ran into 
and I couldn’t have been happier! We ran up to his room for a short bit where I finally met a very sleepy 
. We went down and the family just grew even more when I finally met 
and 
showed up! After an emotional reunion and obligatory mini dance session, our fam was almost complete as we went out front, freezing for the arrival of 
. As soon as he showed up we were all quickly warmed with many hugs and happiness. As we went back inside, I ran into 
and 
as we continued our dance session. Soon we decided to head back over to the Hilton--for we were still missing 3 of our members. We sat around in the lobby for a bit, trying to contact the missing 3; for we had thought that they would have been off their bus by now. None of them were answering telegram messages or phone calls. Eventually the others left, leaving Teej, Xepher, Riiya and Rocky to stay with me. I was tired of waiting and ready to get to my room. I decided to do something with myself and get the remainder of my luggage from Rocky’s car. Upon entering the building once again, there he was, the one we had all been waiting for. Immediately dropped my luggage and ran over and embraced Ben in a hug that seemed to last forever as my smile would not leave my face buried into him. I soon let go and grabbed my stuff for I was eager to get inside our room. As soon as we got in, we got a knock and was greeted by the ever-loving 
! I gave him the biggest hug being so happy to see him. Soon Riiya, Xepher, Trent, Flip, Teej and Rocky spilled in our room along with 
, 
, and 
. Everyone was here to celebrate my birthday! But no birthday is complete without presents. With that, Ben revealed the real reason he was late, for he pulled out a beautiful sweatshirt for me and a gorgeous framed commission that he had to go print off at the Hyatt before getting to the Hilton. I was beyond in shock, all I could do was hug and kiss that boy. <3 Soon everyone sang happy birthday to me and left except for myself, Shuyo, Ben, Teej, Riiya, and Toxxik for we were still settling in. After we were done, the 6 of us headed over to con space and met up with the others including 
! I was very happy to see him and receive my awesome badge. There, we celebrated our group reunion with a proper dance cypher. Afterwards, we went up to Trent’s room and partied while Ben played his dj mix and Flip became the Baxtender and gave me a birthday drink! It was the best birthday ever, celebrating with friends <3 Soon we were all partied out as me, Ben, Toxxik, Riiya, Rocky, and Teej headed but to our room in the Hilton, going to bed in bliss and ready to tackle the next day.
ThursdayEveryone woke up before Ben and I. Rocky decided to head over to con space while Toxxik and Riiya went to go find something to eat. The two of us lazied in bed for a good long while before deciding to shower and prepare for that day. We decided to walk over to the mall and find some food since it was noon. Food was soon acquired as we also happend to run into 
and 
and invited them to eat with us. We had a good meal as 
joined us as well. After we finished eating, we all walked over to con space and ran into many friends. We eventually decided to hit up @Shadowsfox’s suite for a party! There, KodaO gave me a birthday shot as we all chilled there in the room. After awhile me and Ben left to go find more friends around con space. Soon we hit up another party which was very packed. Ben ended up asking me to go back to our room to let our final roomate in; which I did but not without dragging rinzy along with to accompany me! When we got back to my room we were greeted by a very tall 
! I had been waiting to meet him for over 2 years and he had finally arrived to be with us. After letting him in, the three of us we back to the Hyatt where I found that Ben had left the party we had returned to. I soon found out that he had gone back to Trent’s room to chill. I ran up to the room and chilled with everyone who was there. After a bit, me, Ben and Kairoo decided to go check out @Kamillex’s set which was pretty cool! We then left and checked out Shadow’s party again which was poppin more than before. After a bit of that we had to try and help someone get back to his room which took forever and I was very tired by then :c After a long time of trying to help we eventually were able to get back to our room, exhausted.
FridayOur social hour was cut short as we had to prepare for the 
choreo panel! We got in and it was very fun! After doing that for an hour, we gathered up some peeps to go to the mall to grab food since we had not eaten--until we remembered Red Bar. So we hopped on over there instead, come to find out that the majority of dancers did the same! We had really good food and chilled for a bit after everyone was done. Soon me and Ben headed on over to the main ballroom to get ready for Dance Comp prelims! It was exciting and exhausting watching everyone dance their hardest to impress the judges. After prelims, I was was on the hunt for a certain dog… and found him! I was super happy to see Pilot once again <3 We then all headed to Shadow’s suite again to see what was poppin. We left there shortly after and went up to @jdpuppy’s suite to find a very emotional snapback after being surprised with a ice cream birthday cake from Polaris! We soon went inside and sat around eating cake and having a good time. Me and Ben left soon after to head over to the Doubletree to celebrate Luka’s birthday in Leone’s room! It was packed with tons of good friends, music and food. <3 Unfortunately the party got shut down and most dispersed, leaving myself, Ben, Leone, Kairoo, Malcom, Yazoo and ReyRey to seek refuge in another room. During the party, me and Ben decided to be a trash couple and eat edibles---and boy did they hit us. I honestly don’t remember much after that, except everything being skippy like in a movie. How the 3 of us made it back to our room that night in one piece is a mystery.
SaturdayReyRey, Ben and myself woke up high-hungover, fell back asleep, and did not awake until around 2 pm. ReyRey stayed in bed, but Ben and myself forced ourselves awake so we wouldn’t sleep the day away. I was still very high-hungover, but made it over to the main ballroom for Floor Wars! marlotpolecat was nice enough to let me borrow his suit for fursuit division. I got pitted against the wonderful thatcrazyk9 and lost but was more than shocked to see that I had received a few votes! The whole event was wonderful but I needed to get out of suit and get food. At this point I was so hungry that I didn’t even care, me and Ben went up to @dalmydog’s room where there was plenty of food and a bunch of our friends! I was so relieved to get food after dancing on an empty stomach. (I can’t remember the rest of this night so I’m just going to say that we chilled and partied, hung out with peeps, and went to bed.)SundayWe all got up and prepared for the dance comp. The competition was wonderful and there were lots of amazing people! After I think we got food and walked around before going to Shadow’s suite again. After that we mostly hung out with other dancers or roomies. Later that night we decided to organize an impromptu mock floor wars right outside the dance. It was quite fun! I had to walk Ben back to the hotel because at this point he had been in his Cruella de Vill drag all day and needed to get out. After walking him back to the Hilton, helping him get out of drag, and walking back to Hyatt the two of us, Yazoo, Cyan, Toxxik, and Riiya piled in an uber with ~athena~ and storm-tiger on a quest to Steak-n-Shake! (how we got 8 people into a 6 seater mom van, I do not know.) The food was amazing considering we had not had a bite to eat all day. We piled back in and got back to the hotel as things winded down. Eventually, me and Ben ended up hanging with ReyRey and his friend Dean for about 3 hours before stumbling back to our hotel room for the night, completely exhausted. MondayThe bitter morning came too fast. We all got ready and packed up our stuff and people started heading out one by one. Ben was the first to leave. Then went ReyRey. Soon me, Rocky and Riiya went to Hyatt to say our final goodbyes. We said bye to Toxxik and our group. I said bye to Riiya and pretty soon me, Teej and holzy piled into Rocky’s car as we drove to Midway, dropping me off where I boarded my plane and took off into the sky, past the point of no return.Im too tired to write a proper summy but all I can say is it most definetly topped MFF 14 by a longshot. I love my fam. Can’t wait for this year <3
