Going Vista

Just got my copy of MS latest operating system and Im gonna try it out now over the weekend. Its the Business edition since its a MSDNAA (academic alliance) license, but hey free stuff from Microsoft is never wrong! :)
Not gonna upgrade fully yet though, but dual boot it and try it out before fully migrationg some time later (and after some service packs appear). Got many leagcy stuff that has no drivers for Vista and probably never will like my Santa Cruz sound card, my trusty Canon scanner that has scanned all my furry stuff for years and so on... Not to mention my Photoshop 6 program which I don´t know if it will run on it.
Anyways can´t wait to test it atleast.
And as for the furry artwork Im still booked doing this game design/gfx thing so thats keeping me occupied for atleast 2 weeks more. But after that expect to see more stuff from me.

Almost everyone I talk to say that Vista is shit so far (many who have tested infact), and few of them are Linux/BSD fans so it's not prejudice... :/

From the sound of things, Vista makes XP look like an armoured vault.
IT IS LIKE SAYING THAT AN ASTEROID COLLIDING WITH THE EARTH IS UNFORTUNATE.
"Vista is Pretty and shiney, that is it."
What pisses me off is how much space the OS takes up! 20 GB! And it's just... shiney.
Don't be surprised if you end up disliking it.
But it works, it was free and I can´t find myself to complain about that.
