Well, without knowing any of the details, I can't really give any advice, but one of the nice things about FA is that it's a really big place so even if you do alienate a few people, there're always more friends to be made!

Again, I don't really know the specifics of your situation, but I feel reasonably confident that you should be able to bounce back from most faux pas as I've seen others on here do so in the past.
