I am back from Hawaii. I have been for few weeks, but the entire time back has been a whirlwind of assignments, surveys, and lots of complaining. We missed our flight out and lost about 15% of our trip time due to having to reschedule our plane. WHICH, as you can imagine, has made the students, parents, and office workers none to happy. The kicker is that EVERYONE was at the agreed meeting place at the airport on time--except the professor. She was 15 minutes late. the way I figure, that's 1% of the trip for every minute.
ANYWAY I won't go too heavily into detail about the situation, but due to us missing our plane, the deadline for our work was extended into the semester. That's work for a 3 credit class on top of my 17 credit semester for a lovely grand total of 20 credits (3 art studios included, which is the cap they allow you to take). Due to this, everything will be busy until the 10th--commissions, badges, even my ability to eat and sleep. Which really sucks.
There are a number of officials on campus who have been alerted to the situation 1. of us missing our plane and 2. to the fact that we're still doing work for a term that's technically over now which is not kosher, among other things so there may be a bit of a refund in our futures, which would be nice. There's a lot more problem wise going on with the trip then just that, unfortunately.
Ultimately, the short of it is:
Hawaii itself was great. I got a lot of really helpful reference images and was able to do research for SOS.
The class was stressful, poorly structured, and I didn't learn a lot (and didn't get a lot that I paid for originally, like food).
I learned a lot from my peers who are comic majors, and was able to bounce a lot of ideas for story/design off of them.
The badges are about 50% done, and will be shipped out shortly after the 10th of this month, when my assignment is out of the way.
Sorry for being so slow guys, as always I appreciate your support through all of this and I hope when you finally get your badges in hand they don't disappoint! I'm pretty proud of them so far.

OP
You probably would have murdered my professor. She hastes sarcasm and has a bit of a power complex. That is not a good idea.
