Real Talk, or, Why I'm Pulling Away From the Site

Looking in the rear view mirror, it's been a pretty interesting year. I've gone from a relatively unknown person round these parts to someone with a visible platform and well-liked artwork. Unfortunately, the taller you stand, the more you see. And what I see is disheartening.
FA, and indeed most of the Fandom beyond it, has been largely corrupted by greedy, sick, predatory people, and by their rabid fans who care more about getting their dicks wet than in anything resembling integrity. That goes double for the site mods, who not only fail to improve the situation, but actually ENCOURAGE it through biased censorship and exceptions to rules for "furlebrities".
Furthermore, I have come to realize that the ridiculous over emphasis on quick, cheap porn has effectively stymied my growth as an artist. I cannot maintain a commission schedule that demands routine, uninspired work and simultaneously experiment with new forms and techniques. That is not to say I don't enjoy doing porn on ocassion...but having to ONLY do porn, just to pay the bills, is not in keeping with my values or ambition.
While I will continue to post here on ocassion, I feel that it is time for me to broaden my horizons and expand onto bigger, more mainstream projects. I want to master my craft, which I cannot do by focusing exclusively on business here. And I want to keep providing art to loyal fans and newcomers alike...but on MY terms, without supporting the circle jerk of stupidity that this website has become.
To that end, I will be setting up a personal, drama free webpage to host my artwork. I will still be available for stream requests based on the themes I choose, and will take commission requests through my website or Twitter IF the subject material interests me or provides a challenge that can improve my skills. If you just want two generic looking characters swapping fluids doggy style, there are other artists who can better serve you. If you want unique designs, porn that is truly passionate rather than banal, or visions of characters and the worlds they inhabit brought to life, I'm your guy.
I will contact those individuals who have requested future commissions from me and inform them when I have fully transitioned to my new site. Once it is up, all requests will be handled there. As always, thank you all for your support--I look forward to what I hope will be a bright new chapter for us all in the future!

date though, so you can do some searching for what it is you want to do.
To be fair to yourself though, know that you really are an amazing artist, and
someone who's skill I hope to achieve one day. Love ya buddy. I'll be stalking
your website and twitter every now and then.
This has consistently been the state of things since the 90s, just replace "FA" with an era-appropriate website (Furnation, pre-Foxxfire Yiffco, etcetera). Hell, I'm sure it dates back even further, to the BBS days. The furry fandom is built on a foundation of nepotism, after all, hah!
Anyways, really like your work, and I look forward to seeing what comes out of your getting some room to experiment. Glad you'll continue to post here occasionally.

Lately I find it frustrating that some of the artists I like really aren't the great, gregarious people I make them out to be. At the same time, there's this ridiculous meta of "choosing sides" that's torn the people I met and our groups just sort of dropped out and kept to ourselves. Not everyone gets along, fine, but the shit that's been argued has been banal. It's embarrassing.

I'm a busy dude, but its my full intent to follow you no matter were you go. You had a fan in me from the start and have only made it more rock solid as time goes on
And i won't commission for these themes which lack ideas, because i don't want to waste my money.
