An actual update Journal

Its been a while since I made a journal in which I posted anything serious, for the most part if I've made a journal its had some silly rubbish in it XD
Anyway I started my last year of full time study earlier on this year, and im liking the classes I have (Except for that damn infernal maths). Operating Systems and computer graphics are quite interesting subjects, Especially working with Open GL and minix. We recieved the source code to the windows research kernel, which is essentially the windows 2003 kernel revamped for study and research use. I have also been introduced to open source development, with my studies with Minix and Linux.
Open Gl is quite fun and I hope to produce some good projects, once I can stop being lazy and actually get to work on it. I also became IT officer for the Macquarie United Nations Society, and have built the website for it ( http://www.mqunsociety.com/ ) (best viewed in firefox.)
My grades are doing better than usual at this point, which is a good sign, even though I've been feeling quite distracted by something lately... However these sorts of distractions are just emotions, and I try to endeavour never to let emotions get in the way of progress.
I bought 3 old Dell C610 laptops for $120, And am finding various uses for them (Mostly comps to screw around with, since if I screw one up it hardly matters).
I might attend this Big DA meet thing thats being held in Sydney on Wednesday... that's if I can be bothered, ill see if I feel like it on the day.
