So today is the day I purchase my first home. I have butterflies right now. I'm excited; don't get me wrong. I'm more concerned about doing the right thing. I've been on my own before but that was an apartment. This is a house now.

When you rent, you lose that money. When you own a home, that money still stays there when you resell it. Trust me it's a great investment!
