Chick Magnet 500
9 years ago
Today I've repaired the PC of my uncle. Additionally I've renamed his Wifi access point into "ChickMagnet500". While he probably wouldn't find that very amusing, I thought it was sufficient enough if find it funny. <:
Note that I've picked up 3D work again since I currently have a few weeks of downtime in RL, I'm mostly experimenting around with nonsense though, that includes animating dust particles, nerding over subsurface scattering shaders, and dropping a Piano on Zoe. Especially the later is admittedly most entertaining! My plan is to do a few more smaller animations that loop in order to get back into animating and actually have some decent; more frequent content to post. Thanks for all the feedback on everything I post here! I've been slacking a bit in getting back to each comment, most likely because I already do that on my other persona that floats around out there on the internet. Having two seperate identities is something I find incredibly hard to manage sometimes, sadly it's necessary if you do a certain level of professional work, but I assume a lot of artists here can relate. The same thing troubles my Skype account, while I'm available 24/7 on my RL account I often find it difficult to sign into my Cake Skype here. In case you added me there and haven't heard of me in months then please don't be frustrated with me there. Another mental hurdle for me is the amount of people I somehow added there. I remember walking around like Jim Carrey in Yes Man during my first year. While I always enjoy meeting new personalities, I've been troubled with the circumstance of knowing a huge amount of people here on bowing terms, rather than establishing something deeper with people I actually liked. Ah well... perhaps I should actually try approaching people I like myself and see how this goes! Gotta see whom to drive nuts here more carefully!
Wow... this was actually supposed to be one of those monthly nonsense journals. Now it actually has real content in it, it's almost as if I'd start taking myself seriously. D:
(Catching up on journals here since I figured I only posted this on Eka's, also to spam away my recent journal! Huehuehue~)

I know how hard it can be to have to keep up two separate identities on the internet. It's a shame that you have to, though, considering how amazingly detailed some of the animations you post here are. If the subject matter wasn't so taboo, those videos would make an incredible addition to your portfolio. ;n;
This made my day.
