What led you towards a sharksona to begin with? :)

For all my life since I was a child, Sharks were always a fascinating subject to me. I just couldnt get enough of them, from movies like Jaws to documentaries on either National Geographic or Discovery Channel. When I was in college, I became very intrigued by the whole furry fandom, Ive always thought it would be cool to have my own OC. Hence I created Carmena and the whole rest of them (except Miyako, she was adopted from  drakeraynier) "B" became my sharksona :3

They're certainly fascinating creatures. :3 For myself, they didn't hold quite the same fascination in anthro form until a few years ago now, when thanks to coming across Riptide and Finir's profiles and artwork and that and they instantly got me bit by the shark bug, hard. Several months later I had my first sharksona, Sliver, whom this account is named for after I switched from my old account. Then from there it was a steady descent into total sharkyness and shark love xD Within the space of six months from that point, I'd created four sharks as sonas and OCs, including the one that's seen in artwork the most, Jax.

Who really got me into drawing shark anthros was  xaenyth and  drakeraynier as well :3

But i have to admit i do find your characters very interesting :D nice to see a break away from the norm ^^

Ive been drawing all my life but I didnt really start focusing on it until High School throughout. Then I kinda gave it a break for a few years than I started focusing and developing my art back in 2010 when i joined DA

What would you say led to an interest in underwater/drowning shenanigans?

Since I was young and living near the ocean all my life I had a thing for it, especially with the underwater environment. Anything to do with people swimming/posing underwater had capture my attention....mostly females of course heh I guess you can say I grew to be a 'Water lover' or Aquaphile and it's grown to be a personal fetish of mine ^^; The drowning part really caught on til recently when I came across  byondrage's works along with his general underwater pics as well :3 Of course, I wish for not people to actually drown IRL. As long as it's fantasy or acting, Im alright with it.

Yeah, I hear you loud and clear with that last part. I rather dislike the idea of drowning in real life. For some reason it's different when it comes to fantasy stuff.
