First, unless it takes down as quickly as it sets up, you could miss your boarding call.
First-and-a-half, if you're a heavy sleeper, you'll miss your boarding call for sure!
Second, it occupies floor space. This could get you stepped-on, kicked or otherwise molested, especially if you park yourself in an inconvenient place.
Third, I can foresee airports banning them because of people setting them up in inconvenient and inappropriate places.
Fourth, it doesn't look all that comfortable. A row of tubes is going to create weird pressure points no matter how giving they are. It doesn't look particularly long, either. It might do for a kid or a short person, I couldn't stretch out on it.
Fifth, the air mattress and pump take up room in the suitcase that can't be used for clothes and toiletries and stuff.
All-in-all, it's a clever idea, but unless you're in a situation where there's a high risk of a super-long delay, it probably wouldn't be worth it.
What caught my eye that I have to wonder about is the inflatable playpen option. First, if you put your kids in it so they'll feel secure, what's going to happen when it's finally time to board and you have to get them out of it? Second, how long is it going to take to deflate a playpen and put it away and where will your kids be while you do it? Third, what if it makes one or both parents feel secure enough to leave their kids alone in it while, for instance, they take a leak? And should you even be traveling with kids that young? It just doesn't strike me as a good idea.
Oh oh is also not a play pen, is an indented mates that the baby can rest in.. It's very easy to deflate and only takes 20 seconds to inflate so it's not huge. The rest of that point though just sounds like bad parenting not bad product haha.
People already lie around or sit around airports all the time, baby or not, for hours. People sleep in floors, in chairs, on luggage. This solves that issue and didn't take up anymore space than a person lying on the floor
There mattress is not the patent, the pump is so the mattress can be changed. This product isn't for sale to the public yet. This is a social media campaigns to get manufactures interested
The air pump actually takes up the same space as the telescopic handle would be. They take up the exact same space and weight. So nothing changes in terms of packing.
