tattooing, commissions? & thanks.

first off, i'd like to thank everyone who's watched me thus far for doing so. i don't want to muck up your pages with a bunch of ctrl-v'd "thanks for the watch" or "thanks for the fave"s, but i really appreciate every one and i hope that i can keep your interest. (:
i've been offered a tattoo apprenticeship! i am very excited about this. i want to learn and expand my style and broaden my scope of art & keep on learning.
but, the place is a bit far from home, it starts relatively soon & i need to pick up a bit of money however i can.
i'm thinking of offering commissions,
but i don't quite know how to go about it. i don't know how much i should charge, or if anyone would even be interested. i know i'm not one o' them fancy big name artists.
if anyone can help me out & maybe suggest an appropriate price range (i really don't want to rip people off, but i also don't want to undercharge too much.) i would be very, very grateful. i really want to make this tattoo deal work!
more art is a comin',
& trades are on their way too.
:>

I dunno, I'd also say count how much time you spend on the piece, what kind of materials you use, (digital usually tends to be cheaper), and so on. :)
Congrats on the apprenticeship, too! I just work in a little headshop down the road... not much of a job that is.. 'going places', haha.
a headshop must be the chillest place to work o:
And sure thing :)
which country is this, is this the states? i can't say i've ever smoked in the states,
but that seems so silly! here it's like,
as long as there's no resin in it you're good to go, and you call it whatever you like!
that's an interesting fact though, i never knew that!
thanks! :D more factoids for my good ole brain to hang on to. THE MORE YOU KNOW
