Scanner Reccomendations???
Working on traditional things, obviously, it's all I'm wanting to do lately. I am having a teensy issue though, my ancient scanner is... well... ancient. It kinda eats my colors on marker pieces, my linework isn't scanned ideally and loses some quality at it's largest scanned size even after digital edits. Also, this thing makes it difficult to scan my sketchbooks, cutting off at least .5" of pages at times since it's a bit smaller. Not to mention this thing even has flecks of idk on the inside of the glass that always needs to be digitally removed from scans, I assume from on and off storage and moving it around over the years. It's not really the best option for doing any high quality scanning. I can survive with this but I am in need to replace it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for decent, kinda affordable scanners? Thanks!
EDIT: this won't be something I'd buy right away. I can make due with what I have right now and still keep some nicer quality art coming. It'd be rad to get a new one somewhat soon-ish, though, since I'm planning on scanning a lot of traditional media art for my Patreon(s) when launched and [GA-MA] & [R-18] comics that could rang between 13-20 pages and mini-comics. So lots of use is in the future!

It's a huge klunky all in one and the price tag compared to normal scanners may make you balk, but it is also the only large format scanner I have seen that isn't $1000. You can scan up to a large 11x17 comic page in one of these when most scanners are 8.5x10. I found that so annoying considering bristol comes in 9x12 standard. It is SO NICE to be able to shove a huge image in there and not have to play crop tetris to make it fit.

I love the wireless capabilities of it, and the second tray it has to hold 3x5 photo paper, it took a little time to figure out the tray setup (to select the paper from the 3x5 tray vs. the regular tray) and if it was being really stupid I'd just swap the paper from the one tray to the other) but the part I like best is currently my desktop is dead and I haven't set up the printer on my husband's computer, but there's a little touch screen that you can use to scan and then e-mail the scan to yourself. This option doesn't allow you to adjust contrast or brightness, but the convinience of it all is beyond me. <3
Here's a scan where I e-mailed it to myself http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19017261/
and here's a scan when I can adjust the things: pencil sketch, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17099592/ and Colors from my watercolors http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14306662/ to marker (NSFW) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17326231/
My only thing is that if your working in a sketchbook like I do, you'll have to remove the page to scan it flat, this scanner is super unforgiving if there's even a hair of distance, and the edges become blurry (see the top and left of this pic) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16472262/
This one's another NSFW link but in the past I've had a hell of a hard time getting my one OC's red not to come out super muddy, and this was e-mailed to me as well, with no adjustment and his red came out spot on. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19020031/

I have had experience with the canson that was recommended and it's pretty nice, but I didn't get enough time to really compare/contrast it to my HPs that I'm more familiar with.
JUST judging from that I know that Epson lasts a long time, it's relatively big, not the biggest. It was ~$180 if I recall?
