My first Fandom was MLP. When I was like, 4. I'm too find of the newer stuff though. *shrugs*
Then I got into books, preferably fantasy, with dragons and strong women. (Dragon Riders of Pern, Anne McCaffery)
Then came Anime, the first one I liked was Ruroni Kenshin, the Japanese with English subs.
My current fandoms are Firefly, (named 2 of my 3 kids after characters), Supernatural, NCIS, (OMGOD ABBY!), Avengers, The Last Unicorn, AVATAR, yes, Pocahontas in space,and Harry Potter.

Oh, and I married a Jedi, so I guess better throw Star Wars in there too!

I remember Pern 8D I was into Dragon Lance and Forgotten Realms myself when it comes to fantasy things.

I heard Firefly never finished :( I'm so sorry to hear, it's a bummer to be in a fandom where the shows like WELP WE'RE DONE.
(I really liked Avatar myself, I don't get why people were making fun of it for being a rip off of Pocahontas. Every action show has a scruffy white dude with short brown hair, whose wife/daughter was stolen/killed, I'm confused why AVATAR got grief and everything else doesn't :'< .... I really thought everything was so pretty too, I hope we get an Avatar 2, simply because I want to see more of the world)

I'm a casual fan of many things. xD I don't tend to majorly participate in fandoms, but I would say Steven Universe and Undertale both are something I go out to read / watch and reblog things on tumblr, so I guess those are something where I'd actually say I'm "into" a fandom.
I couldn't begin to list the rest of the things I like. I'm just not a giant fangirl about a lot of things. xD

I'm kinda with you on both those things. Steven Universe is nice and I enjoy some of the characters, but can't call myself in the fandom.
Aaand... I just like uh, the pink robot guy, Gaston or w/e, aaand fireman dapper bartender from Undertale-- and it's clear my knowledge on that is slim lol.

Yes, hello. Ff9 is still my jam (Zidane is my son and I will fite anyone about it) as is KH which I'm crying about because no PS4 for 3 ;w;

Aside from that, my all-time anime is Katekyo Hitman Reborn and I still have a soft spot for YuYu Hakusho and DBZ which I'm currently watching Super and loving. With few exceptions I like anime with cute boys in it, cool fantasy stuff and not too much splatterey bits. Game wise, I don't have a whole lot, but I'm in love with the Atelier series (Escha and Logy and Shallie I both currently own and have 100% completed Shallie) i used to REALLY love Megaman Battle network and Boktai but find them tedious af to replay. Oh and I'm also in the Undertale fandom because Mettaton.

I had the BIGGEST CRUSH on Blank for the longest time. And Kuja. RPed Kuja for a long time too *w* I love how you kinda end up loving like... all the characters. I remember hating Steiner at first but by the end of it I just-- I couldn't not like him!
YuYu Hakusho is such a blast from the past I love me some cute boys and golly gosh damnit if Kurama isn't the cutest.
(Mettaton is one of the only things I know about Undertale and I like him too lol)

Kujaaaa ahhhh so many feels about him! And yeah, you're right! I felt the exact same about Steiner, and it's true, I can't think of any of the cast I didn't care for in some way by the end. That's pretty rare nowadays where there's always one I just can't stand, lol.

Kurama was literally the reason I developed an obsession with fictional guys XD It's a lil' embarrassing to admit, but when I was younger, me and my best friend would make up stories about being in their world (and anything else we were into), kind of like self-insert fanfiction and that's even how we met, we both liked anime when nobody else did, or at least nobody talked about it, haha.
Confident good-looking guys are my absolute favorite thing, so that was a given for me, be they demon or robot X3

I like that FF9 didn't say he died, cause Zidane went back for him so I have to assume he's okay. And... I'm a sucker for 'bad guys' becoming 'good guys', so I just pretend Zidane brought him back and Kuja had to redeem himself and lots of awkward issues ensued. It's cute in my head. Sticking to it!! (Please give us a FF9 remake, stop giving FF7 remakes!!)

Ahaha oh god, I remember doing some pretty embarrassing things in my youth too xD But hey, no one got hurt and it was a way to explore things so you know? I guess I was into Eragon for a while but that never took off as a fandom. The only time I saw people get cohesive over it was when the movie was shit and everyone screamed.

Eragon was such a good book but... mrrr, cannot say I enjoyed the movie, no.

And then there's Guild Wars 2, which I guess counts since I'm really into the game and Phill and I played it together before we even started dating and even now, we duo on the same two characters as our mains. His first Christmas gift to me as a couple was a plushie of my main too, hggn. We play other chars of course and have other duos but those two are particularly special.

I think it is, though it also occurs on dA, I noticed. One of the reasons I'm leaving that particular site actually. It's like, as soon as the 'SJWs' get into a fandom, it just goes downhill quickly. I get what you mean too~ Back in the day you could just have a laugh at things, of course among friends and then just leave it at that, not try to use a show to shove things down people's throats or to get someone, geeze.
