Undertale is invading my Dreams (weird fucking nightmare)

So--for whatever reason--I woke up at 4am from the most bizarre nightmare I have had in a few months. I guess it's simply too out there for me to not to talk about, so I hope you find it entertaining in some way or another! I should probably mention that it's really strange, violent at times, and is vaguely disturbing (or at least was to me), and the whole thing reeks of bad fanfiction, but...
Let's begin. The details are a bit hazy at the start, but here's what I remember: I was on some sort of vacation with my mother, grandparents, and aunt to a resort of some kind, I remember there were mainly old people there. The accomodations were mainly small cabin or shed-like buildings that were cheaply constructed and abysmally tiny, but they were comfortable enough inside... Er, somehow. It was also very snowy (just like it is in real life, presently) and cold, we were staying at the top of a hill... There were a lot of little events before this--like eating at a small cafeteria with my family that had weird prepackaged food, listening to my grandma tell me that my life choices are incorrect, being forced to clear snow off the roof and sidewalk of our cabin by cats--but you didn't come here for that! You came here for Undertale. So, on to that part:
I was texting Nux idly throughout the kinda boring family trip, like I often do when I'm on a boring family trip. I had a strange book I was reading (I don't remember if I had brought it on purpose or just found it mysteriously) that I can only describe as a child's school book. It was all about Undertale, and got weirder and weirder as I continued to read it... Now, it was probably about as thick as your average coloring or activity book, and made of about the same material... I forget what the cover was like, but I do remember the inside, if only for the weirdness.
Started out sort of tame. There were things like puzzles, mazes, random color-able illustrations of the characters, and some logic problems and basic stuff like that. It also had factoids here and there about Undertale that were mostly things I knew. Things about Boss monsters... The Underground, etc. Then eventually I got to a page that had more advanced problems, puzzles I couldn't figure out and weird riddles... I'd say the book went from a 3rd grade level to a 7th grade level in a few pages. Some of the exercises were already done too, though the one I remember most clearly was a few diagrams of piano keys that said above them "Sans and Papyrus' Secret Code!" and the keys had been scribbled all over with weird notations I didn't understand. Somehow I knew it was actually the skelebros handwriting (guess it was in the right fonts :U), and I thought something to myself like "Oh ok, so they can speak to eachother in musical notation. That makes sense. :I"
But anyway, the plot thickens. So I keep reading this weird little book, and occasionally text Nux about whatever it is we were talking about, and then I came to the last section of the book. Suddenly it looked like a highschool level textbook, with the chapter header "The Language of Odeon," and a whole lot of reading to do. I had this profound sense of dread when I got to this section, but I kept reading anyway because dream and because yolo
Apparently "Odeon"--in whatever weird logic this dream was following--is the name for the language that skeletons use (Oh ok?), no matter what font or format their text comes in. The next page had a series of diagrams--like you often see in linguistic textbooks-- showing a conversation between a kid Sans (Oh ok??) and his dad (OH OK???) that had an English, standard font version of the conversation, and then an apparent "Odeon" version. I remember that Sans' dad was some pretty srs looking cowboy skeleton (I'm not even going to bother with the "oh ok" anymore) complete with hat, poncho, skelehorse and everything, and the english version of his text was full of pretty hokey western lingo and phoenetic representations of a southern accent... Kid sans basically was the same as he normally is, just smaller. The conversation was like... Sans asking his dad if he could do something like climb a tree or go spelunk a cave or something kiddy and silly, and his dad being like "lmao little buddy r u sure that's a good idea u might run into some varmints" or something... Then the "Odeon" version of the conversation had Sans' text in its normal comic sans, and his dad was talking in like... Illustrations of totally random things. I seem to recall an illustration of a quill pen and a treasure chest, but I have no idea what the hell this had to do with their conversation. But apparently the meaning was the same, so ok then.
So I--of course--texted Nux all this stuff, and was like "lol what" and Nux was like "oh yeah I read about this on the wiki. cool rite?" and I was like "o ok"
Somehow I also gleaned that Sans' mom was named "Bamboo" and her font was some kind of weird chinese text (Wat, Sans is asian: fanon confirmed), but she sorta didn't do anything and just kinda was there. I finished reading the book and decided (because, again, yolo) to explore a nearby abandoned cabin, because apparently the "real" world still existed and I was interested in it. Creppy cabin looked like the others on the outside, but then it was a weird mansion inside, way bigger than it should have been, and full of... Puzzles. ... Ok.
So I was exploring, solving puzzles, and doing all kinds of random pointless shit, and there were totally just ghosts there. Not ghosts like sentient apparations, just weird afterimages of the past... Or so I seemed to know. Like in most dreams, I just sort of "knew" things without any logic behind them... But, I digress!
So I get to the library of this weird monster mansion and--so far so good--it seems pretty benign... Dusty and spooky, but benign. Suddenly I get that weird feeling of dread again as I solved the next puzzle, and then I see something that makes me dread totally justified: I see ghosts of "Sans' dad" beating his "mom," and I feel an overpowering sense of "ok it's time to get the fuck out of here"
Ok so at this point, everything goes apeshit. The floor opens up into spike pits, bookshelves come alive and start eating people (because suddenly there were other people here???), and chandeliers turn all pointy and evil and swingy, it's like some kind of death obstacle course. I'm running for my life and just barely manage to get out as a table is galloping after me with a buzz saw attached to it (hahah ok what the fuck looney tunes special is this seriously)... And for WHATEVER REASON I remember this last puzzle really well, if only because it was 100 percent stupid and made no sense. The exit was this tall white marble hallway with these weird tall statues, and the door had a giant cartoon meme looking picture of Hitler above it. You had to make a face that mimicked the weird face the Hitler portrait was making, (I'm serious. I couldn't make this up. If I did make this up, I would hopefully not make up something so stupid.) and somehow that shit was more forgiving than pokemon amie and I made it out of there alive. Despite all of that, I was still relatively calm and just feeling sort of upset about the thing with Sans' parents, and I went back to my cabin to start packing my things to go home.
I don't really remember exactly how this happened, but I seem to recall that Sans appeared and cryptically told me that he killed his father, to which my mental response was "are you serious, this sounds like some kind of plot I'd use for a story" because apparently I am self aware enough in these bizarre dreams to make fun of myself. But! At this point I remember a lot less and what I do remember is weirdly disturbing, and is likely what woke me up. I don't really remember enough details to go into, but there was some lady that got "punished" by having her body contorted in weird ballet positions in midair, and then all her limbs were disassembled and carried through some weird factory. She then was done her punishment and her body was reassembled, and she got to fulfill her dreams of running a bakery... I remember thinking it was some sort of clever analogy for hell, purgatory, and heaven, but then I woke up and wondered what the fuck I was smoking.
... I have no idea what that was. I have no idea why I decided to share it either! I should probably go back to sleep, but I'm a bit concerned about more weird nightmares. Oh well! Better weird than scary, I spose

Oh yes, dreams are weird. XD Weird, but fun for it!
No but that's some fuqed up short. Your dream stole my fanfic idea of Sans killing his dad, so now I have to change the twist. Fuck you, Nathan
Lel sorry Bane, looks like you'll need to go to Sans eating his dad instead. :>
