So, i have a decent desktop that was designed and built by my former roommate, close friend, and always awesome Kaaryn. Unfortunately, in my move, several of the small heat sinks for the after market cooling system for my graphics card started falling off. Without them, it started overheating and shutting itself off. So! I went and watched the how to videos, read a bit, and purchased the supplies to reattach them. Everything turned out great! Except.. the fans no longer spin and it makes this horrific screeching noise (the cat loves it!) I have been unable to find any inormation on what the hell happened or how to fix the issue. If anyone has any ideas, i would much prefer to carry on with the old card and not have to buy a replacement at this time.
