Paypal's super safe, it's like setting up a completely online bank account.
The reason why they require a SSN is because they need to confirm that you're not a child, you are who you say you are, and that your bank is your's. Because it's mandatory you attach a bank account and/or debit card to your Paypal. From there you can transfer between the two.

I have personally had SEVERAL problems with Paypal, but every single time was either my fault, or them temporarily shutting my card down for security reasons. (Someone at Dairy Queen out of state tried to use my card number, so Paypal took the precaution and shut it down for me.)

With any and all problems with Paypal that you may have, calling customer support will always fix it. They're really nice people. Also, I should add that the problems I have are apparently a rarity because I've never heard of anyone else having these troubles, even going around asking.

I made my Paypal when I was 17 and it took them a good 6 months to find out. They didn't ask for my SSN right away, rules were different.
After those few months, and they DID find out, My account got locked with all my money meaning I could not use it until I turned 18. it wasn't fun. I couldn't spend, refund, transfer, withdraw, anything. my money was just sitting there in limbo unusable.

hell, maybe I can use another family member and just transfer when I'm old enough... that should be safe right? also, don't mean to ruin the suprise, but something's coming in soon :D maybe after a certain stupid holiday... :D maybe to Florida, home of the turtle... it's yo package :D

What way did you ship it? O: like fedex, postal, etc
