I'm completely in agreement with you until the end. You see laws don't apply to the lawless, the government can apply laws by the truckload to this issue and perhaps the tool of choice is replaced with something else, knives, hammers, but the laws fail to address the issue, crime is not being punished and the current laws we have are not being enforced. The plethora of feel good laws has made it very difficult and expensive to stay within the laws, I do it because I don't like the consequences. Lots of parts and pieces and some ammunition has been very hard to come by and its rarity has driven up the cost. Every US citizen is charged with maintaining their own safety, courts have ruled that the government has no legal obligation to protect you from crime. I own possess and carry not out of fear but out of a sense of duty to protect myself and loved ones, and not once has it ever been needed. I also have fire extinguishers in my car/truck/house that mostly go unused, save that time on the highway where an extinguisher was needed to help someone from loosing their car to fire. A firearm is a tool that can be used for good or ill, we have plenty of laws already on the books, more than we need, but they are not applied.

When I was in school, juniors and seniors could bring their rifles to school, leave them in the guidance counsellors office and pick them up after school to do some hunting on their way home during the right season, shotguns and rifles depending on the time of year. Twenty or more kids bringing guns and ammo to school and nobody even blinked, and nobody was harmed and no laws were broken. So thirty years ago, there were no kids shooting up schools and theatres, you tell me what's changed? Dozens of laws have been added, the cause isn't the firearms.

Gun violence is a new term, how about youth or gang violence, that would be more appropriate, perhaps this, sure go back to having guns in school as part of the curriculum, archery and rifle marksmanship, a respect for firearms and a respect for life and the laws of this country, not your home country but this one, a very healthy respect.

What's your take on a far less sensational pile of death, about 50,000 people a year die from drugs and another 20,000 ish die from drunk driving. 70,000 lives lost annually. Sure firearms account for 33,000 but a large number of those are suicides, leaving only 5500 as homocides. 5500 out of 100,000 isn't miniscule but its not a glarinly large number. But firearms are so much more sensational for some reason even though its outpaced 10:1 by drug overdoses.

He's also basing his belifes off of an even that happen a long time ago. before clinto made the magazine restriction and before obama made his executive orders.

Those so called innocent black people aside Eric Garner, failed to cooperate with police and deadly force was used. Number of times armed blacks would approach cops, multiple warnings, they failed to comply. Black lives matter is actively spreading hate against law enforcement and whites resulting the death of a number of cops all over the country. Black Panthers spread the message of hate and violence. The ones getting pictures with guns can't even legally own nor handle a weapon yet they do. Obama calls for criminals not to have access to guns? Only if they are white apparently. The right to protest does not give right to riot, burn buildings, cut fire hoses on national television and cause violence yet they feel it does. I know there is racism in America, but lot of it is stereotypical responses. When blacks constantly rape, murder, Rob and do other illegal actions, this becomes the norm and therefore mind. set of cops and people in general which causes the hate and paranoia.

I have known a number of blacks who become something despite being raised in poverty and less than livable conditions. They don't use their color or circumstances to justify their criminal actions or claim it's in their culture. They want to be lazy and claim slavery and shit? Blame whites for slavery, demand retribution and hand outs? Non of today's black culture can claim they ever were on chains yet they do. They use any and all excuses to gain, to warrant what they do. That's just not how it works in afraid. If you are shit, you are shit. You can become better if you put your mind, effort and time into it.

I cannot sympathize nor give two fucks of your upbringing when my own was not grand either. I chose to become better, not use it to be a bad person. They have this choice, they fail. Entitled? No, you earn.

Gun violence? Yes it does exist sadly. But regulating vs enforcing existing current gun laws does nothing. If there is a will to get a weapon, they will to carry out their murderous agenda. Knife, gun, bats, golf clubs, hammers, their own hands, cars, etc...anything can be used for murder. Guns are popular though, I'm aware. But doing Fast and Furious, providing weapons to criminals and cartels willingly, does not solve gun violence, does not prevent the illegal aquisition of firearms, in fact it encourages it. You have a president who wants to ban guns for law abiding citizens yet actively sends criminals weapons? Contradictory much? Kind of like the war on drugs. US provides millions if not billions to cartels for drug flow in this country and abroad yet state they want to end it's presence in America? They make money off of letting it happen. Corruption is rampant. Don't fool yourself. Don't believe their kind words.

Part of the liberal play book is to decide us all racial, socially, religiously, etc to make us hate and distrust. This makes it easier to gain control. Be aware of this fact. Promoting hate, violence, inequality, it gets people talking. Rhus creates more violence with eye for an eye belief. No logical solutions are being presented, but more hate stirred. Sheep, bah bah. Don't be a fucking sheep. Think, research, know, understand. Don't give in to the popular word and movement.

Modern examples of the Panthers show different colors. Preventing voters from voting in favor of Obama only, not that they needed to, Romney was a moron, but intimidation and physical violence is not what I consider peaceful. And on social media they were posting pics of themselves armed and Promoting violence against law enforcement. So if they were peaceful back then, they are not now.

If I can use that argument I can say the same about the Klan. I hate them Kat as much but today the have set up more charutble programs for youth and communities too. They are still evil. They even support military. They are still evil. Hezbollah offers medical assistance and programs for Muslim people yet they attack Israel and are a established terrorist organization. Bin Laden too Was a savior. He helped orphan children after the Soviet withdrawal. He too was evil. A murderer is still one even if he cradles a baby to sleep.

I am pro gun, I support our rights to own and bare arms. I support legal, lawful citizens the right to defend themselves and own weapons regardless of color. Its not color exclusive. Issue is yes, bad people get guns or weapons to do what they do. In my opinion hangs need to be openly hunted down and eliminated. This would ease the fear in neighborhoods, prevent youth from being recruited and corrupted, and of course killed. It would also help impoverished areas to an extent, perhaps allow for the people to get the help and aid they need.

I see too much inaction and support of bad things and it's sickening. Not one presidents fault but across the board. Parties too.

O will never be able to, not anyone, be able to wipe guns out. I agree it is to make people happy, feel more secure, even if nothing is truly being done. Its like that for many subjects. I can only hope by talking to gov people and such that things can improve but I can't trust it. I can only hope.
