Feeling A Bit Down
So I'm a few weeks into my first Art class at the community college and I feel like I'll never reach where the other students are. I feel that in many respects, I am the one who was chosen to bring Crafty Coyote to the world and yet, there are many times I feel like it should have happened to someone who knows art far better. I'm willing to go up against a multinational corporation for the right to create art with my little orange yote on it but I don't know if I can ever really learn perspective well enough to release anything worth buying in the first place. And, I don't know whether or not I can write a story compelling enough that people would want it.
Just a curious note, the people who worked for Walt Disney back in the day said he was not good at drawing, yet out of him came some of the best classics ever. It's a proud step you have taken by entering a college drawing class. Don't compare yourself to others or their progress, because everyone is different. Your just beginning, so be patient, pace yourself, and practice, practice, practice. And remember, unlike some art students, you have an admirable goal in mind.

In a picture perfect world, he'd have become wildly successful with kids and adults alike. Whoever made him would have made a ton of money. We would have paid for it all but if I were to put matters into my own hands, there's a very real possibility I might get sued for infringement. I do so want to design all kinds of stuff with him on it but is there a way I can gain control of Crafty legally?
