I haven't really talked about it much but I love rule 63. "For any character, there is a gender-bent version of that character" I guess technically speaking, Grey is sort of an androgynous character, but she has male and female versions. I imagine that the male and female versions have very different personalities. For instance, male Grey is very meek and submissive. He's also shy and socially awkward. Whereas female Grey has more of an in-your-face kind of attitude. She is snarky, haughty, and has an over all more dominant personality.

I guess Grey is as much a character as she/he/they? are a tool for self exploration and expression.
