I think the best way is to take some days off and just enjoy yourself Wuff. Its always great to have some time off and recharge yourself and enjoy yourself and play some games and then go back to drawing ^^

Yeah. Might take a week to just get into Street Fighter V some more I think.
Also thinking at some point that I wanna take a vacation from my day job to just marathon some art and maybe get some comic pages started or something....but then I'd feel guilty about not taking a vacation to spend with the wife, you know?

That is true with thw wife. But maybe you can talk it through her and ask her kindly and she wont take it to hard ;o But yeah as Street Fighter V is out you got alot to play and relax and enjoy with :)

I completely with Luenas above me, doesn't always have to be about work! Gotta relax and have a nice healthy balance between the two.

What is this balance thing? Does it taste good with milk?

It's tough to find the right balance. Could perhaps try both, with a supersteam then over to a few days off or vice versa?

Sometimes people can get burnt out on an artist as well. When I posted things quickly one day after another, people didn't care for it as much as when I posted once a week or month.

I used to do daily updates on my commissions, but it was messing up my scraps folder, so now I just give clients updates via dropbox. So I guess, as far as the public is concerned, I'm only posting about....once a week maybe?

Well you need to take it easy, I've seen you gaming after all :D

I feel like I'm missing out on tons of gaming these days though :|

I feel like I see a lot of artists going through stages like this. And honestly, I think it's the same for just about anyone in any career. Sometimes I feel really great about my job, other days I feel like I'm completely unnoticed. I, personally, have loved watching your art style change and develop. The piece with Allos and Ronnie is still one of my favorites!

But just like what everyone else said. Take some time for yourself. Get back to... not being burned out. xD I'd also be totally in for a super-stream one weekend. :D

Yeah, that super stream sounds like such an awesome idea....I'm just not in the headspace for it *right this moment*


I think this coming week will have me playing lots of videogames, reading through my collection of artbooks and just reigniting my inspiraiton. :)

And I'm glad you love that peice with Allos and Ronnie, it is one of my favorites too, I really got to stretch my legs creativley on that one and for that I thank you. I still have those original thumbnail poses saved, might do something with those down the line too.
