campbellkid here with, as you can see, bad news.

This month's meet, albeit late (extremely late) notice, will be cancelled.

As for our reasoning behind this:

1. None of the admins will be there; one's moving into a new house, another will be in st louis, and I'll be with at a my buddy's going away party before he leaves for basic training.

2. The discounted bowling is gone; while this may not mean a whole lot to some, it does mean something to others (like me). I talked to the manager and I haven't gotten any word back on what he would be able to do for us, so I'll be going in again in a week to talk to him, and hopefully, see if we can't work something out.

Another thing that's been on my mind is that I don't think a meet every month will be viable anymore; bi-monthly seems like a better option with the way our attendance has been, and now that we probably won't even be able to suit at pheasant lanes...it just doesn't seem suitable. As for different options, I'll be talking with the other admins (as well as quasi, because he seems like a knowledgeable person lol) to see if we can't come up with other options, besides a bi-monthly meet; maybe a co-meet with another local group or something. I dunno; we'll figure it out.

I'm really sorry for the lack of a better notice, guys. Trust me, this shit hurts me too. And you guys that were planning on coming up, if you still want to go to dinner and then bowling, you're more than welcome to; I don't want this to stop any plans you guys made! It's just not going to be an official meet, and there's not goin to be any admins there, so...anything you guys destroy, it's on you lol

At any rate, I'm sorry again, guys. We'll put our hard hats together and we'll come up with something, though. I promise.
