Today my mother found out that she could have esophageal cancer. She had gastric bypass several years ago, and has been recently having some problems with her stomach. She had an upper g.i. test done today and they found cells that could be cancerous. They biopsied them and are now being tested. We will hear the results in a few days. The doctors say that she has a condition that can quickly become cancer if it is not found in time, but we won't know for sure until the tests come back.

This is in addition to my father also possibly having bladder cancer. He has been bleeding from his bladder on and off for months but he cannot have anything checked because he does not have insurance and he is too stubborn to go to the ER. His symptoms show a lot of signs of being cancer.

So, if you're the praying type, pray, please, for them. Think good thoughts, wish them luck, whatever it is that you do. I really do not want to see world where both my parents have cancer.
