Hi Everyone!

This is the second year I will be fundraising for this event, and I've decided to start early.

My goal is to raise $150 by April 24th, and then I will run 10+ kilometers in support of cancer research.

Cancer has touched my life many times and, you probably already know, its touch is not gentle. It is cold, and rough, and it stings, even years later. This disease reaches into people's lives and grabs at whatever it can take.

From my grandfather, who smoked for only a few years when he was young, it took away half his jaw.

From my mother-in-law it took away one of her breasts, but also chipped away at her confidence. Always a hugger, now she hesitates for fear that someone will notice her asymmetry.

From my husband's grandma it took her life, far too quickly and painfully.

From me? Nothing yet, except my assurance that all those I love will be there for years to come. I cross my fingers that that's all it will ever take.



How will I raise this money?

I will accept any donations you are willing to give, but I know that getting something back is much better.

All my commission profits between now and then will go towards my total, and I will be promoting on several sites.

I will also be offering new types of commissions, such as writing, editing services, icon packages, and voice.

Art - Sketch ($5)

- Additional characters (+50%)

Written - $0.05/word

Editing - $1/page

Icon Package - 3 custom icons + surprise ($5)

Voice - I will record myself reading your story/your favorite story ($0.05/word)
