What do you find to make it worthwhile to get up in the morning every day?

It's more of a need to get up... Otherwise my cats try to eat me.
My partner, my cats and my art are all motivations for me to keep going. I have so much I want to do and it requires working to get there.

What is your favourite rpg class?

Hunter/range. I'm terrible at melee, but used to be a pretty decent hunter of WoW back in the day.

I'm completely Australian. Never left the country. Whole family is Australian.

Got any big projects you want to do in the future? Like writing a book or something along those lines.

I have a graphic novel called Kin I've been trying to work on but I find it intimidating to start.

- Art in general has been a solid hobby of mine for as long as I can remember, I started getting serious about it not long after high school and after university it evolved into a career. Furry art specifically... Uh probably from whenever this account was created.
- Hmm, I do like Queensland. It's great to step into an ocean that isn't ice cold like at home.
- Not often. Within the last few weeks I've seen about 3 huntsmans and a few golden orb spiders but to be fair I was on a farm for one of those weeks and my cat caught another one. It's not the massive spiders you have to worry about. Biggest spider with an ouchy bite is a wolf spider and they're cowards.

How do you go about choosing colors in your art?

Generally speaking a characters colours come from character refs and all are colour picked accordingly. Then for background I go with natural colours, whatever would be standard. Basically the colours you see in my images are not the colours I start with. I do the base colours as just boring standard colours. Pick a theme for shading, generally blue or purple, depends on the scenario. Yellow highlights and then adjust the entire colour scheme with filters and colour sliders so the whole image feels like it fits together.

No. And I don't know anyone who has.

I play video games. I don't have the time or money to go camping... Have cats to look after and art to do.
Just going hiking/camping isn't what a walkabout is. A walkabout is essentially wandering off into the bush/outback with nothing more than a swag and generally not coming back for a long time.

What is the most enjoyable part in the process line when you paint, despite its difficulty in generally?

If you mean actual paint, I don't. If you mean digital painting, well the painting is only a process I have on full detail images, everything else I'd just consider drawing. But that said the painting process itself is my favourite part. Creating the detail.

1. Was there a specific process that you went through in designing your sona, Kita? Did you go through a lot of different iterations or did her design just come to you and stick?
2. What's your artistic guilty pleasure? (as in, what would make you go "Yusss!" when asked to draw it?)
3. Will you come shooting with me? (and by that I mean show me the hell up with a recurve because I haven't been shooting in months)

- Woona!!
- I haven't played wow in forever. All my people don't play anymore... I sometimes play elder scrolls online cause it's free. It'd be nice to get back into it before the next expansion though.
- One day. I only just named my main character.
- Hmm Kita started off as a random character I made while going through a wolf phase. She was a little fox companion to a wolf character of mine, Toby. Her design was completely different and I only drew her once. Later on I drew her again. She was a lot redder and her brown markings were almost black however her design was essentially what it is now. She used to have gradients of red, orange, yellow and white but beyond that she hasn't changed too much.
- Hard question... Hmm... I enjoy fantasy works. Things that I can experiment with and don't have to be specific/realistic.
- Sure, but I haven't shot my bow in years. I've been spending more time around rifles. Would be good to shoot it again but I'd be a crap shot.

- Yeah same, I stopped playing for ages but started up again in the build-up to Legion. And when that happens it is TIME FOR DEMON HUNTERS ALL THE TIME

- That's pretty awesome! And yeah mine was similar, Sharn used to be a ridiculous character (the kind you generally see teenagers creating when making characters for the first time!) and this unnamed wolf (who eventually became the version I use now) was a side character! But strangely enough, when I sat down and actually fleshed her out for the first time (first time was literally a single-colour grey wolf) she was identical to how she is now!
- That's fair enough! I guess the entire furry fandom is based around imagining things that couldn't happen in real life, so that makes sense! :D
- Oh man, I went to one rifle shoot and was immediately scared off by how super-serious everybody was (I did recently try clay pigeon shooting though, and that was amazing!)
But yeah, if you wanna, we generally go...most weekends? (and relax, I've shot my bow maybe three times, I'm rubbish. :D)

Where do you go to shoot?

DVA in Yarrambat, but I know most clubs (???) will have visitor fees and allow people from other clubs to shoot there as a once-off? So I'm happy to do that too!

Phew a fair way up from me, but one day I might come :)

I don't have a local club. I used to shoot when I lived in Warrnambool and occasionally when I go up to the farm in Wangaratta. Since I moved to Melbourne the bow stays in its case.

Ah well, I'll see if there are any around, I know there are some out east and one in Altona, idk yet about any others...? (Out of interest, what area of melbourne are you in now? west/south/etc.)
