Haaa... so in my rush to get last Friday's Paw-Post done I realized I completely forgot my song pick. Not that it's a major omission or anything. :P Does go to show that in a crunch, they can kinda consume my brain. Build time for them is around 5 to 6 hours when you take into account the highlight and the annoyance of formatting for e-mail (rich text), FA (BB code) and Weasyl (whatever the hell Weasyl uses).

I am trying to get more ahead though by doing highlights as much in advance as allows - having much better luck on the artist front than the character one in that regard in that I have a highlight already done for the March 18th release (and that Q&A was a sheer delight to do as well). Now... one heads up I think is worth mentioning on these Paw-Posts is that with some artists have three or more links possible, I may not be able to give much in the way of commentary or it just takes forever to do. So please pardon brief comments from time to time. I do however want to add to the tagging some general species info so that folks can have more of an idea of the picture content. So tags will look like this:

which means

(Footpaw type: Content rating, Character(s) Gender, Species - special image theme, and/or comment requirement)

Occasionally this has already happened in the case of stuff like charr, or humans, or frequent appearances on the list like Sera. So now that will be something I'll do for as many pictures as possible. I have been also using the "theme" tag from time to time with macro/micro stuff, and I think I'm going to expand that a bit to include stuff like bondage, tentacles, vore or other "themes" that people may want to either see or avoid (either way, the tag helping to make them obvious). This could also be sued for something like "TCO!" which is Tame Comments Only for artists who wish people to keep their commentary on the more innocent side. Hopefully that helps when the descriptions are short and makes it easier for folks looking for specific stuff on the list. As mentioned a few Posts back, humans (if any) will be at the bottom of the Post's links to make them easier to avoid for those who don't want to see human feet.

Fur-In-Need

 TheOwlette - Owlette has but one PC, and (as you may remember from her Artist Highlight on May 1st, 2015) she makes her living by doing furry art. That's hard to do when your PC is dying - which is her problem. The PC suffered water damage, and while it was rescued quickly and still (sort of) works, it is not reliable, and is getting less so every day. Without a working PC, she can't do art, without art, she can't make a living. And while one can save over time for a PC, having to suddenly replace one without warning is definitely expensive (I sure couldn't easily do it). Owlette was the artist who inspired the much bigger Q&As of the modern highlights with her generous and entertaining feedback, and she's a wonderful, kind artist who loves paws as well. To help raise money, she is taking donations either through GoFundMe ( https://www.gofundme.com/Owlettepc ) or PayPal ( http://paypal.me/Owly ) - whichever you prefer. I've helped her out with what advice I can give no how to further clean up and maintain her current PC. Another possibility is spare parts. Oooowwwwhhhhhh! (love that scream of theirs). XD The Beastie Boys were pretty damn amazing when they hit the market in the 80s. Here were three guys that somehow managed to combine rap and metal, and it was awesome. This is one of my favourite BB songs, and its not as well known as some of their other hits. Loved the hard riffs of the melody against the heavy beat. Unlike most "rap" of the 1980s and 90s, this has aged well - you can play it today and it sounds great. Play most 80s and 90s rap today and people kinda wince and go "ooh... right... we used to think that sounded good....aahahaha." XD This was just a great song to enjoy on a walk home from school in my walkman (shhhaadup... it was all we had back then).

Epic DAWWW factor! Tartiidrake offers up her beautiful footpaw for Vikushu's Yukino. Yukino looks absolutely overwhelmed with happiness at getting to enjoy such a beautiful footpaw up close (and come on... can you blame him!?). Tartiidrake has very pretty footpaws with elongated toes and really nice soft skin which ripples so nicely between the toes and firmer pad below. It's a very sweet picture that is equal parts adorable as it is attractive, and one of the best views ever offered of Tartii's beautiful soles. :)

One very unique looking avian character wondering where Camus is. Apparently... he was doing what we might, which is admiring that awesome sole... a bit too long. Typical fate of a paw lover, yup. Character Summary/History:
Loki never had the traditional Charr upbringing, never a member of the Fahrah, he was a wanderer. Never knew his father, Mother died when he was a cub. Cast out as a Gladium, he spent his time wandering Tyria, exploring the lands and finding out about the other races within Tyria. He never truly found that one place he could call "home" which drew him back to Ascalon, the call of the arid plains there was strong. He began to grow restless, hating the taunts from warbands and other Charr, he was bullied, frowned upon. A rat among the Charr. His rage built up, causing him to run manically and suicidally into a flame legion castrum, only wanting bloodlust at this rate, if he died he'd only die a wanderer, it'd save him from his lonely life. He survived, however. Looking over the pile of Flame Legion before him, he found another pair of eyes upon him. His now current mate, Kazul Muddypaws witnessed his struggle, and called him bandmate. From there history wrote itself, and the two of them swiftly fell for each other.

I love getting the odd playful comment here, derpy stuff tends to get my attention! Creepy comments, please, keep them to yourself and respect the fact either myself, the artist or the other party in the picture may not appreciate these kinds of comments!

(Loki) *Charr salutes in return with a small smirk grazing his lips, a twinkle in his one eye* Not a problem, lucky you caught me on break or my Tribune’d have my tail hrr hrrr... Blood Legion, Centurion and proud of it!

(TC) *points to the eye patch* That an old battle wound?

(Loki) *nods slowly with a slight grumble* Mhmmmrrrmm.. Sepratist ambush, figured one Charr would be an easy target for them. I proved em wrong but, not without it’s price chuckles softly It’s a great story to tell at the Serrated Blade though!

(TC) Ouch. Stupid mice - sorry to hear that. So... as this is the Paw-Post, I have a few innevitable questions about paws if you don't mind. First off, I must say, you have some very big and beautiful footpaws sir. Are you aware of how many folks admire them?

(Loki) Ahh nothin’ to be sorry about grins toothily before glancing downwards Hrrm? My paws? *he chuckles lowly, looking back up* Well.. thanks! Always nice to hear the compliment. he tilts his head at the last part How many folks? Uhhh.. Hrrrmm... Well I've often been busy with general duties, I ain’t really thought about that!

(TC) Well.... let's turn that around a bit; what do -you- think about footpaws?

(Loki) Oh that’s a good one hrr hrr... *scratches his chin slowly* Well it’s a tough one, I like em, love em, hell almost a little bit obsessed by em! But I don’t quite know why.. *he grumbles, clicking his fingers a little* So many options, from rubbin’ lickin’ massagin’ ticklin’ hell even just watchin’! *he laughs heartily and rumbles out, shaking his head slowly* Though I prefer em clean, that’s a given!

(TC) Ahh, so you really like them. You think maybe it's their texture, warmth, taste? Person they're attached to?

(Loki) *Chuckles slowly and bears his fangs in a grin* All of the above my good man! Lots of things can make a good pair of paws to me, but I’d have to say the biggest part is who there attached to.. depends on where certain paw activities can go, how they react, yadda yadda yadda, without ramblin’ on it’s nice to have a good pawbud!

(TC) Do you care if they're male or female footpaws? And just charr, or do humans, Norn and others apply?

(Loki) *chuckles softly at that* Male or Female is fine to me buuuuut I gotta say Charr certainly is the preference. After all there what I see most commonly!

(TC) Well if some of the pictures I've seen are any indication, you do certainly have a few paw-friends amid the charr... and upper command. *smirks* But I believe there is one charr who is your favourite, right?

(Loki) *chuckles at that and slowly rubs the back of his neck, grinning sheepishly* Aaaahhhhyup! That I do hrr hrrr.. my guildmates sometimes indulge me, and they tend to come out of it having enjoyed themselves too! Often I get the pleasure of his paws hrrr.. thick browniepaws, cause they taste like friggen brownies! *he laughs deeply and folds his arms, ears perking at the last question* And oh yes, mind are pretty well treated as well hrr hrr.. apparently they’ve got a flavour to em too.. pads like chocolate, soles like peanut butter. Lap em together and it’s like eatin’ one of those fancy candy bars. *grins*

(TC) *laughs* I... have no idea how your sole pads ended up tasting like that, but that is pretty awesome. No wonder you both enjoy them so much! So does paw-stuff play into a lot of what you do with one another - even just simple stuff like cuddling?

(Loki) Hrrr, well Fudgey does say there are times where I can’t keep my tongue away from them.. aaaand he’d be right! *Rubs the back of his neck and rolls his good eye with a grin* But it can too! Never a hug where our toes aren’t locked or wiggling against each other’s for that little bit extra warmth!

(TC) Awww... that is so sweet. So... curious then, was the paw thing part of how you and erm "Fudgemallow" met?

(Loki) *Chuckles slowly at that and sighs, shaking his head slowly* Hrrr fraid not.. met him back in my days of being a loner. He saw me taking down a group of Flame Legion, saw some potential in me and took me on as his bandmate and guildmate! From there.. well let’s just say I went weak at the knees for him hrr hrr, and may or may not have admitted my thing for paws out of shyness. From there wellll... pretty sure you can picture the rest!

(TC) Dawww... this just gets sweeter by the moment. So who was the first to admit the paw thing?

(Loki) *raises his hands with a slow chuckle* Thaaaat would be me hrr hrr, I admitted after a little while. He’s a heavy sleeper so there’d be the odd morning where I woke to find him still sleeping, paws hanging out of the covers. It was bound to come out. *snickers*

(TC) *laughs* Well.. I can see how that would be kind of hard to resist, yes. There are few things in this universe that can out-do charr-feet, in my opinion, for shear appeal. Alright, so outside of paws, Are you guys both all duty kind of guys, or do you have hobbies outside of your legion work?

(Loki) totally agreed with you! Hrrr once ya go Charr you can't go back, there just.. Awesome hrr hrr. And welp, we're in the same Legion, and bandmates so we're often on the same missions together. Often accompanied by a couple of guild mates too, no matter how boring, dangerous or tough a mission may seem. It's always a breeze with a good solid band of troops.

(TC) But any hobbies you two have outside of missions? You know - cooking, metal work, bane-fighting - that sorta thing?

(Loki) *snickers* Muddy's a heck of a cook, grand-master chef in fact! And he's a heck of a bunker Guardian.. Probably why he's so good at armour smithing *chuckles slowly* As for me? I'm a bit of a hunstman, crafting fine rifles, bows, I'm your man! With a little music on the side hrr, lutes can be a tad difficult to play with long claws though.

(TC) Oh wow... not many charr you meet are into musical intruments. Yeah, they crazy long talons would make it hard, but also make for great picks! Would love to come here you play sometime (ahem... and admittedly kinda stare at your propped up paws while doing so). :3 Does Muddy like it when you play for him?

(Loki) Heh! Well sure! It’s a bit tricky right enough, but if yer fingers are nimble enough for it then you can play it like a charm. *he raises his good brow Hrrmm?* Did ya say something before? Oh! Muddy! Hrrr yeah he does, if we’re off duty sometimes just relaxing in the bunker while picking away at it can get a smile on his face.

(TC) Awww. You two are very sweet together. Well, I best not keep you too long or Rytlock's going to come looking for you *mutters under his breath "not that you'd mind"*, so um - is there anything you'd like to say to the folks on the Paw-Post who will be reading this?

(Loki) Oh burn me right enough! Only got a couple minutes before i’m due to meet him. *laughs softly and hurriedly thinks of a reply* Uuhhhrrrrm hmmm... all of you, stay awesome, your all wonderful people, to the ones out there following me I wouldn’t be getting art if it weren't for you, and most importantly.
