Zootopia!

Just got to watch the film today through a chance series of events (mainly involving The Finest Hours not being able to fit within my schedule), but boy was I glad to have the opportunity to watch it.
It doesn't disappoint. Period. Starting this off, I'm really not saying that it's a good movie just because it involves anthropomorphic animals and I'm a furry. Gorgeous animation, memorable characters galore, and a never-ending flow of animal puns all contribute to making this one of the best animated movies I've watched; but what truly makes Zootopia special is its golden plot. The masterfully crafted story touches on pretty heavy issues that plague society, yet does it in such a way that is inoffensive and has an extremely wide appeal. A large list of problems ranging from prejudice, privilege, ambition and racism make themselves heard loud and clear. The fact the a family-oriented film tackles and resolves these themes successfully truly impresses me. Literature fanatics may agree or disagree with me on this, but I could see hints of Animal Farm, Robin Hood and War and Peace within it.
All in all, Zootopia is a definite must-see on everyone's list for the year. I hope you guys will enjoy it as much as I did!
(P.S. Please try not to apply Rule 34 of the internet to the two main characters x3 When you see them in action in the film I'm pretty sure you'd agree with me ;P)

I've seen this movie twice and I still enjoyed every second of it. I've been looking for details and suprisingly - everything was where it was supposed to be, without things appearing out of nowhere. For examply the suitcase fell on Nick's tummy at the moemnt the vagon fell, so he actually had a chanse to take it with him. Or the moment with strawberries - he said he'll think of something and then he glanced at the berries - so there was no cheap tactic of "let's guess that character can think of everything under stress and still menage something good" - nah. He noticed them and then came up with an idea, so it's all fair. Fair movie and not so childish as I would've expected before watching it :)

Exactly! And all the clues were there too to help you identify the antagonist xD

How is it that everyone else has seen it, but the release date isn't until March here?

OP
Asia Pacific (especially) and sometimes Europe normally get to see the big-budget blockbusters a week earlier than the USA due to some kind of marketing strategy, as home-grown or independent films aren't so big around certain areas.

Yep. The movie was on 19th February in Poland, while the premiere in USA was on 4th March.
