true though I think I rather email Hasbro and ask them what is going on and such. I did a review of Combiner Wars Devastator and gods he was a Quality Control issues wreck when put together and while putting him together

In the original G1 we had six, not five. I had the original toy, and it was also six in the cartoon. The fact that there were six instead of five made the combination of the toy a little wonky, as they had to come up with something other than the 'Scramble City' type of connecting for the limbs. I haven't seen the whole review yet, but I plan on watching it when I get up. Just thought I'd let you know that. x3

No problem. The 'Devastator' they had in the PCC line (and some others) only had five. The 'construction combiner' they had for Robots in Disguise ('Car Robots' in Japan) only had four, oddly enough. Hightower, Wedge, Grimlock and Heavyload. They combined to form 'Landfill'.

And Mixmaster is a front-loader in this series, meaning what looks like his back is actually his front. So even though he looks backwards on the box, the box art is correct. it's Hasbro's attempt to 'update' the design, yet they had to add that stupid looking 'retard-o-cab' at the back end of him so he could still form a leg/foot properly. Don't worry, the upgrade kit (not sure which one you're getting, though..) has a 'cab' that fits over that part, turning him back into a back-loader like he was in the original series.

The leg movements you were complaining about are Devastator's ankle-tilts. They do that to make him more stable in combined mode. And since he isn't a 'Scramble City' type combiner, you can't swap limbs around. So his ankles only tilt one way.

Other than that, yeah, I agree with you. He's a pain in the ass to put together, and he really suffers from 'hollow plastic' syndrome, not to mention Long Haul is stocky as fuck. He looks like an olive threw up on a dwarf, and his arms don't even match his body. Total pass for me, I wouldn't get the set unless he drops to the $80 range.
