And so the universe said "Nah, not today."

Hehehe...
Ever have just a long line of events that just seemed to be too perfect to happen, yet are? As if the universe just turned to look at you and instead of throwing all kinds of things to get into your way just goes "Nah, not today." And just lets the good things flow into you. Perhaps I'm just exaggerating, but DAMN today was a good day. And went I left the house I was filled with the usual thoughts of doom and gloom. Don't get me wrong. I'm not the emo type. In fact I can barely tolerate emo's and despise the whole emo mentality almost as I much as I do skateboarders. I always hope for the best out of each day, but found it better to prepare for the worst. Evens everything out in the end. Now, when I left the house I was running late. However, getting out of town I barely stepped on the break, all the lights flipped to green as I got near them. Driving conditions were perfect. Clear sky, surprisingly little numbers of drivers on the the road and again, sailed calmly through every light. I won't go into detail on most of this here because I would like to keep it off-line. But I will say I realized I had forgotten to do something, and due to the time I had made up with the perfect driving conditions I had just enough time to check my bank account, discover I had more money than I thought I had, swung into a gas station and took care of what I had forgotten after making a small purchase. Then arrived right on time to where I was supposed to be, then got a cookie. A few cookies actually. It was nice. The sunset was just that much more beautiful to see with a cookie.
Ahh... home now and my room is warm, safe and peaceful to be. Oh! And I got a free bottle of soda to pick up soon.
