Zootopia (Spoiler Free)

General
Yes. Very Yes.
It was a very good movie. Perhaps a truly great movie. Why? It's a message movie that does not beat you over the head with (most of) its messages and figures that, when you are old enough, you will sort them out for yourself. It points out flaws in folks and in lines of thinking without pandering or patronizing. This movie would have resonated 50 years ago, 25 years ago, 5 years ago, and what it speaks to will still resonate 100 years from now. One wonderful scene shows how a character's statements, which seem very honest, organic, and truthful, take on an entirely different tone and meaning when viewed from a different perspective. The story structure - cop and con artist team up to solve a case - does seem a bit worn, but I can say this is one of the better movie of that genre. Now, beyond that, this is a movie folks may watch multiple times JUST to catch all the incredible details they missed the first time through. I'm going to be hitting the paws...er...pause button a LOT when this hits DVD.
As far as furs go, this movie is going to be the 'Robin Hood' for a whole new generation of lil furs out there. I so wish I could have gone to see this in fursuit. *sigh* Seaweed wouldn't even let me wear a tail *eardroop*
Ok, will wrap this up for now - very tired and can barely type. Hope y'all get to see it and enjoy it as much as I did ^^

FA+

I'm cautiously optimistic!
Anyway, I hear zootopia is pretty good, and it seems like wikipedia says they even tried marketing to furries. ;)
I'm sure it'll be good and that we'll enjoy it when we get time to see it after TFF. However, I do wish they'd had a zebra main character, but of course I'm not biased at all.
