Your drawings hold my attention. They're sufficiently different from other styles...other artists. You've got a certain je ne sais quoi...but I don't know what :)
I know what the others mean with different. And I agree.
Your art leans more towards the works of the old masters, not the modern internet stuff with the vector lines and airbrushed forms. It's very appealing.
Yeah, sure I do.
DaVinci keeps calling my on the phone by night, for example. He's very clever and sometimes funny, but I hate when I have to wake up at 4.00 a.m to listen to him...
Seriously, I appreciate the comment, but I'd like to know what you mean when you say that. :) It's just a curiosity, I just want to understand how people here see me and my works.
Your women have the appeal of old favorites like Venus and Mona Lisa. You capture feminine beauty, instead of titties and ass. It's very appealing. A lot of your women seem to have a true personality, multiple dimensions as someone said, but not in the 3D sense of the word.
And you manage to convey the moods of old pieces with modern tools.
Because you have the courage to experiment with tools you have never used before and you are not ashamed of the mistakes you do in the process. Also you are one of the few people here who look often at the "outer world" (= RL world) for picture ideas. That's pretty much the way I'd wish to draw, so I try to learn the right frame of mind from you and your works.
Also, I am waiting to backstab you and steal your best ideas. Probably your wallet too. X-D
You have a very good mindset for your own, as far as I can tell - you will only lose yours, if you try to "learn" mine. It's curious, since I've always wanted to try and learn your own mindset!
And yes, I am continuously ashamed of my mistakes, since I have no self-esteem.
Your mistakes are why I like your work for now, in the last few months since you began sketching I've been trying to make more mistakes again too. ^_^
IMHO self-esteem is overestimated. The things which are supposed to boost it are often boring and anonymous, as I am seeing now that I work...
There are two kinds of self-esteem: a "propositive" self-esteem, that everyone might need to keep working and enjoy the work, and a "narcisistic" self-esteem, that makes you think "wow, I'm sooooooo cooooooooll..."
I lack both.
1. Your Artwork is superb, with a unique style and a capital A.
2. You actually include herbivore femmes (notably bovine, but others as well) in your palette, which is a great rarity. Bravo!
Rochndil, who likes yer stuffs!

I'll try though.

Also, you're one of the few people that actually reply back to the comments I make, so that's always encouraging. ;p
