I can not understand people who....aren't true to themselves.



People let's play a game....I will give a scenario and you tell me if it's annoying as fu*k or not. :)



Senario 1:

"I draw porn!" -6 months later after meeting a popular SFW artist- "I am a clean artist, I will not draw porn!" -Another 3 months later.- "LOOK AT THIS PORN" -Next day- "POrn's okay but I wont do it. I'll just commission it, but I wont draw it."



Scenario 2:

"I am classified as a furry" -3 months later- "I am not a furry, I just happen to DRAW animals and animal porn....BUT not all porn....I don't draw porn...only sometimes, But I'm not a furry....Furries are fine furries are actually REALLY awesome, but I'm just not one, I'm not...why would I wanna be? Yeah, I have animal characters but I am not...so yeah."



Scenario 3:

"^-^ Oh cool, this batch of bipity adopts you did, they are so cute and original! :DD" -2 hours later- "Look at this Bopity batch of adopts I have here.~ There so cute and original.~"



Okay, I get that people have changes of heart, and changes of mind, but there's a point between that and.....being fake.



And by that I mean, there ARE some people in the world who change their preferences and ideas and heck their artistic style to match that of another person's preferences or ideas.



If I say My favorite animal is a dolphin to impress someone, when it's really a wolf,...who's losing here? Me.... Because then I'm going to draw lots of dolphins, and not wolves....which is what make's me really happy. Ya dig? 

(I actually love dolphins, so cute. x3 I love wolves too XD)



When you lie and change and morph yourself into other things to impress another, you're only hurting yourself. The people around you WILL see the real you....which will eventually look like a shapeless figure...





Moral of the story, please, be true to yourself. Don't look at others as if they are better than you, and think to yourself, "I wanna be them!" It's OKAY to be inspired by someone, but it's not okay to try to BECOME them.....There's even an episode of Lizzie McGuire that covers this topic. :3

I agree with you on this matter. I have had to act like a completely different person for years. And those were miserable years. I would never try and do that again, but i can understand the logic behind someone being different then how they truly are.

Being the true you will always make you feel better. x3 I'm glad you're being yourself now-a-days. I think we've all been through something like this though. :) As time goes on, we get wiser. x3

Aye, be true to yourself. I hate the mindless 'catering to the masses' and 'one with the in-crowd to be cool' types of attitudes. People these days forget they are their own person, and should embrace it.

I love being me, of course my sona is very hard to look at, but it's me. A story to it, a reason for it, and it's me. And I would never change because so-and-so likes turtles with centipede bodies. >:C

I gave up on giving a flying hoopla on what people say do i tell them strait i wont sugar coat my answer you either like me or you dont and thats fine by me im not loosing much because im still me in the end

You're absolutely right. The me you see on here is absolutely the real me. Kind, friendly, sympathetic, empathetic and extremely loyal to my friends. Unfortunately I can't really be the real me when I leave my house. I have to be cautious and seem more uncaring and perhaps a bit mean and I absolutely hate doing that because it's not the real me. This is because my kindness has been taken advantage of. Been bullied and disrespected at my job by employees, customers and even management. I've even been pretty much held hostage by a homeless person for being a kind, sympathetic and empathetic person. The good news is that the bullying has stopped and most of the management that was disrespectful have either quit or got fired and the new manager and assistant manager are awesome.

I completely agree. I know a couple people who I was TOTALLY class as a furry (has furry characters, only talks/rps/hangs out with furries, has specifications that they ONLY want to interact with furries for things like their chat room and rp, always all about the furry porn) and they will be all "but I'm not a furry" all because of some negative reaction someone they don't even know/care about may have towards them being a furry.

Only thing with these two are they bad mouth others and trash other furries while sitting on their high horse acting like they're not actually one themselves. lol

I'm like dude just....stop. All of this because you're hiding something from your own self!
