Post Zoo Depression?
I don't know if anyone has been in a funk since seeing Zootopia but I sure have. After the high of seeing the movie for the second time I've sort of just.. crashed. All I can think about is Zootopia and the characters and how cool it would be to live there and how it can never ever happen. Was thinking about seeing the movie yet again but I dunno if that would do more harm than good in my current state. I feel like an empty husk, just going through the motions at work and coming home to look for more Zootopia art and the like online. I haven't reacted like this to a movie since The Lion King. And the funk I was in after seeing it lasted several months. I barely could bring myself to eat and lost a lot of weight. I suppose if that happens again the silver lining would be that I do need to lose some weight.
FA+

need soundtrack of Zootopia on CD & Big Hero 6!
Anyways, look up many cartoons that are out that you haven't seen before.
Check out wikipedia. see if there is cartoons or animated movies you haven't seen. There is so many. I cannot even tell you how many there is out there.

If need to know more USA movies, just let me know. I am constantly searching for the next animated movie I haven't seen.
I'm sure the people who suffered from depression after seeing Avatar didn't feel very silly either: http://www.cnn.com/2010/SHOWBIZ/Mov.....r.movie.blues/
I am not denying your feelings, but my opinion, its silly to me to be sad over a movie that has ended . They're making a part two and there will be tons of furry movies to be released in theaters this year. More and more companies are making tons of furry movies. The movie Sing is coming out and that is a furry movie.
I'll add another film to the list of must-sees: Neko no Ongaeshi (The Cat Returns) from Studio Ghibli. Very engaging setting and world.
is that I really liked the movie and I kept thinking about it constantly for like a Week, and I felt almost depressed over it, but yet
I really liked the movie.
I think I know what you mean with Zootopia, it is a weird feeling.
You really love the movie, and I guess its just a lot to take in ^^
I hear ya. Even if it meant being tiny and living in Little Rodentia district, just being there in Zootopia would be more than worth it.
Yeah yeah Dances With Wolves 2 whatever. The world, the color, and the TRANSCENDENCE of the main character to move bodies from his crippled one to something... just *BETTER* really hit me hard.
But I have some weird views on my RL self so yeah.

I've seriously thought about it. But none of the plushes I've seen so far look much like the characters.
I did order the movie written in comic book form, however:

Its more than worth the price of a ticket, even if you go to a 3D showing which is highly recommended.
It's similar to the feeling you can get after finishing a great novel. Urban Dictionary calls it "post-series depression:" http://www.urbandictionary.com/defi.....ies+Depression
I've never felt it as much as on this movie, however. When a book is done you can at least take solace in the fact that you'll probably meet people in your life that can closely resemble the characters you yearn to interact with; no human on Earth will ever meet an anthropomorphic bunny or fox, nor be able to take a vacation to Zootopia, or even talk with an intelligent creature of some other species.
Seeing it again just made it worse. The only things I've found that help are talking with people about the movie, appreciating it artistically, and drawing the characters. Also, perhaps I'll date a chick whose personality is similar to Judy, at which point I'll just call her "bunny" or "carrots" and see if she figures it out ;P
Reading fan fiction and seeing art inspired by the movie helped me get over some of the depression though it still lingers quite a bit.
Getting to RP with you in a Zootopia setting has been wonderful however, and it makes me completely forget about being depressed during the time we're playing ^.^
If I ever find anyone with a personality similar to Nick's, I think I'll just melllllt. Le sigh... I'd do anything for that fox <3
