SC Parts 22 - 27

I got off track with these due to midterms, but now I'm back. I have drank some of the sodas in the past few days and didn't get a chance to review them, but I still remember my thoughts about each of them. I'm also drinking the last NEW soda as I type this, so there is a fresh review. More on that afterwards. For now, ONWARDS!
Sioux City Birch Beer

I've already had Sioux City's Prickly Pear soda, which is one of my top 10, so I expected quality from this drink. I was not disappointed. As one of the better birch beer's of the bunch, I must say that Sioux City has another fine soda. I'd have to say this is the second best I've covered, falling just slightly behind the Reading Draft creamy red birch.

Virgil's Cream Soda

I had heard good things about Virgil's Cream Soda, but never tasted one for myself until this review. I must say, I enjoyed this one. It's rich and creamy, but also has a flavor with just the right amount of strength to it. This may have become my new favorite cream soda, in all honesty. I can't wait to open up the really big one with Bavarian nutmeg in it. But that'll only be for something special.

Ozark Mountain Bottleworks Butter Beer
(Couldn't find a picture of the bottle, so here's the label.)

This is another butterscotch soda. Really not much to tell, as I didn't really detect much difference between this one and the Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer I previously reviewed. Maybe my tastebuds aren't attuned to the butterscotch flavors enough to tell a difference. Either way, it was pretty good.

Reading Draft Orange Cream

Reading Draft hasn't disappointed me yet, ad this one is no exception. It's a delicious, creamy orange dreamscicle flavor that so many have enjoyed. It's got the right creaminess and sweetness mixed a with a good amount of tang. Better than the Olde Brooklyn orange soda I covered earlier.

Olde Brooklyn Root Beer

Unlike the Olde Brooklyn Birch Beer, this one doesn't have 5 artificial colors in it. Unfortunately, it does have one thing in common with the aforementioned atrocity. It's still an incredibly weak soda. The flavor is, again, almost not there. So far, Olde Brooklyn is 2 for 3 on bad sodas.

O-Zell Cherry Jubilee

This is a pretty decent cherry drink. Reminds me a bit of cherry limeade, but with more cherry. It's nice, it's got that sweet tang of cherry, but it's not overpowering. I recommend it for those that like cherry. Might be good for mixing with another soda, too.

Well that's all I have for my haul from Rocket Fizz. I'm definitely going back there next time I find myself in Raleigh/Cary. I'll pick up some more of my favorites from here, as well as some new ones to review.
If you do the math, you may find that a few are missing. There were two bottles with wax tops and the Virgil's with the Bavarian nutmeg. Since those are kinda special, I'm saving them for special occasions only, like my girlfriend's birthday. I'll most certainly do some reviews on them when that happens.
In the meantime, I did also stock up on sodas that are continued favorites of mine. I have to ask: Would you like me to continue this a little bit longer with some of the sodas I already know I like? If so, I will. I don't mind recommending the great drinks I've come to love over the past couple of years.
