I saw a couple of live action tentacle movie clips a while back, though I lost the link in a hard drive crash back then.

I like tentacle pix, but I wouldn't call that a fetish. I suppose some people carry it to a fetish point but hey, some people like pix of pooping too. Now THAT I don't understand!!

I resent that implication. I'm a friend to all bunnies but I'm thinking about helping out Death of NZ Flightless Birds...who I hear could use a new customer or 2.

Are you kidding? They're terrified on=f new help. Between rats, stotas, cats, dogs and possums more than half the NZ bird deaths were... ended. When there are no more of a species to die then its death becomes... irrelevant.

NZ is where death itself may die and you... well you're pretty close. Best keep away if I were you. (Actually if I were you I wouldn't be able to stop screaming, but still...)

LOL... I remember my first time in Japan as a teenager... standing in the train station, waiting for the Shinkansen. I saw this well-dressed fellow reading a manga. I leaned over, curious, and nearly had a heart-attack... so-so-SO many tentacles in places they shouldn't be ROFL

Lucky you! I'm thinking I really want to go to Japan soon. I may just get serious and do it this coming year. It would be quite the adventure to go by myself.

If you do, I STRONGLY suggest Kyoto be your 'epicenter.' It is like another world... you can walk amongst high-tech buildings, only to turn a corner and be in feudal Japanese shrines. And, as it is connected to the Shinkansen, you can travel virtually anywhere in Japan.

Oh thank you! I just looked at a map of Japan and that looks like a perfect place to base from. I definitely want to see Okunoshima (Rabbit Island) which is sort of between there and Hiroshima I see, and Tokyo. And so many other places. Suddenly, I'm all excited. I get a daily email from J-list with a little blurb about Japanese life and how it compares to American. It's a company run by an American from San Diego who married a Japanese lady, has kids, and lives in Japan. So he has all sorts of interesting comparisons and things to relate. Reading these keep me constantly thinking how much I'd like to go see for myself.

I don't have any concrete plans for this summer, nothing particular tying me down once I get my stomach working right (which might be a couple or 3 months. No more, I hope!) and money is not a problem, so......just maybe......

Believe it or not, I was familiar with the Fisherman's Wife stuff long before I ever discovered the fandom. I believe it was in a big coffee-table art book my parents had when I was a kid. I wouldn't be at all surprised if tentacle fantasies go even further back beyond the 19th Century, either! Stories of giant squid and various slithery things from the ocean depths have been around since forever, after all.

And people have been perverts for as long as they've been people too. You betcha!
