I've heard mixed reviews about the con and I know some people that live up there won't go any more.

I have been going there for quite a few years, its a very nice con, small ish, Its a bit of a drive and I pick up friends along the way, I'd recommend it as a fun gathering for certain and with the exchange, super reasonably priced this year. Plenty of stuff within walking distance and generally I have a blast.

Also, if you're looking for historic spots, try to make a side trip to Salem, MA if you can. Not too far from Boston itself.

It's Boston, I'm sure there's a lot of Revolution Era sites if history is your thing. Have fun!

Hmm Well it's a little early for some of the touristy stuff, but Faneuil Hall might be a fun spot to visit. You can also try out the Samuel Adams Brewery Tour.

I would also recommend taking a Duck Boat Tour, but they don't open until March 21st.
