If you buy a character from me.
And later decide to sell it.
PLEASE come and ask me if I want to purchase it back. And make sure that I KNOW who it's sold to.
I am very protective of things I create.
And I have had several people buy things from me, sell them, and the ones who buy them using the character for things that are just not ok. Like selling other versions of that sona.
Please don't be stupid and at least come and give me a heads up that you need to sell the character. It's called respect and kindness just to let the ORIGINAL artist know what's up.

I had someone resell a design I made, didn't even credit me as the designer, the person who bought it posted it (note, it wasn't a new ref sheet or anything, still the one I made), said who they bought it from, no mention of me anywhere. Ruffled my feathers. I even commented on the submission being like "hey, so I noticed that you hadn't been told who to credit for the design, could you please add credits?" and they never responded or added credit despite having been active.

Yeaaa. I had the same happen to me. Someone bought an old sona of mine. Sold it. Not even crediting me for it's original design and now the new owner does all sorts of weird things with it. -shutters- I just don't get why people do that. At least just let me know that you're planning on selling it. And if I have the chance to buy them back. Because most of the time if I have the money and I LOVED the design or miss it.. I'll buy it back in a heartbeat.

There is a couple designs I sold that I made sure to very clearly state to offer them back to me first because I really liked the design. Normally I just say to have them notify me that they are selling it (because if I see someone using it who isn't the one I sold it to, it makes me think it was stolen)
