Finally got it up and running. Now I need to install all my software and such.
Two things are still escaping me though. The video ports on the motherboard don't seem to be sending a signal, yet the graphics card does it just fine. Probably a setup issue. Also, I can't seem to get Windows to recognise the HDD, even though the system knows it's there. Maybe it needs formatting or something? Everything's running off the SSD at the moment, which is fine for now.
Anyway, all that only took 7 hours, but at least I have a much better idea of what I'm doing now.
I mean, cut me some slack. It's my first computer build. :)

Is it a brand new hard drive? It likely needs to be initialized and formatted before Windows can see it and assign it a drive letter. You'll be able to mess with it through Disk Management. (Windows 7 = Start -> right-click Computer -> Manage -> Disk Management. Windows 8/10 = Right-click Start -> Disk Management)
