Stuff and things post-VancouFur

Hey guys! Long time no type. Sorry about that, I've been a little busy lately.
Figured I'd do an update now that VancouFur is done again for another year. Honestly, I've had so much on my mind through the last few months that it's been hard to focus on individual projects, so there hasn't been a lot to report.
Let's talk about VancouFur! It went very well. Being the president of the BC Anthropomorphic Events Association - which is the organization that oversees VancouFur - gives me a different perspective, so I spend a lot of time handling the meta-aspect. With the Rainfurrest debacle fresh in everyone's minds we've had a lot of things to think about and handle behind the scenes, and I spent a lot of time hoping that nothing explodes, things stay civil and enjoyable for everyone, and so forth. So, when the con went as smoothly as it did, that was a huge relief!
Personally, I hosted a bunch of writing-related panels and events. My second round of Turkey Readings went really well - we had a great crowd that enjoyed itself and donated $250 for our charity, OWL Canada in the process. Mostly they did that by making me do silly things while reading bad fiction. No problem! I'm considering running a second one next year - one general-audience, and one of bad adult fanfic. I also hosted another fun flash fiction jam, a writer meet-and-greet, and two board-related meetings. Lots of fun all around.
Beyond that, not much going on. I kind of fried my brain last year with heavy writing and am taking some time to get back into it. I've got my novel project on the go, sort of, and a story idea floating around as well. I need to get into more random writing though - just to keep my hand in.
Anyhow, that's where I'm at. Watch for some fursuit pictures in the near future. I'll try and get some writing posted for you soon!
