Depression sucks. I've been there, albeit in different circumstances, and I spent most of my undergrad years depressed, alone, and untreated. It's good that you're getting some psych help, and hopefully it won't cause gatekeeper issues.

Depression is a total jackass - I would permaban him from life if I could, but I'm afraid I don't have admin privileges with the man upstairs. I'm so sorry it's getting in the way of your goals, sweetie.

Hopefully psych help can help you get it under control, and I hope you know that if you need a shoulder I'm happy to listen. If you didn't know, well... now you do!
