Braixen becomes less mage and more "magical girl" every time it appears in something.

That's what I've noticed. It's not a bad thing but it does feel inconsistent when that evolves into what's pretty set as a wise wizard act.

I'm sure Delphox could also be a fabulous magical girl if it wanted to be.

I've played it for some hours yesterday.
I'm not super big on fighting games anymore, the only ones I was ever really anygood at were soul calibur 2 & 3.
It's fun I guess, not a full price game worth of fun though. I'm also not going to be playing it online as I can't stand the gaming culture surrounding these types of games.

Having said all that I do like that the mechanics feel different enough from other fighting games to have it be its own thing, which is a nice change for once. It sadly does suffer from the classic info dump tutorial which just sucks for learning it. They need to figure out a better tutorial for games like this.

I haven't played it but I can tell from the gameplay that Braixen, Weavile and Chandelure would be my favourites simply because of their personalities.
