According to an email I got, CSP now has functionality for doing traditional cell animation too! Haven't tried it yet, but I sure want to!

It's garbage, but it's a step in the right direction. CSP is an amazing piece of software for drawing and painting though.

I've been wanting to do better digital work how much do you recommend the program I currently use gimp

CSP is one of the best for drawing, and really good for painting. Not so good for photo work, though.

Dang, hope you feel better soon! I read about a police officer that discovered getting spayed in the face with pepper-spray could cure a migraine, but at what cost? I suppose to some, the immediate pain from the pepper-spray is better than the lingering pain of a migraine, but still! Oh, apparently there's several nasal sprays out there now, some with ginger in addition to the capsaicin. Hope it doesn't last long!

It only lasts the one day, usually :p

I get Painless Migraines on occasion so I kind of know how you feel.

I see it can scan. How well does that work? Could I dump my dated Photoshop?

I'm not sure, I haven't scanned stuff for at least a decade. :p You can always try it though, with a trial. Might be running too late for the sale this time around though.

Good thing I decided to buy it anyways. Been looking for a new program that can do drawing better than Photoshop and scan too.

Thanks for this info. I got in on the sale an hour before it ended... Whew! I had been wanting to buy Clip Studio Paint EX for some time, but didn't want to pay the $200+ price. Now I can easily work on multi-page projects and have way more features. I only had Debut before.

I'm excited to have an easier workflow for the graphic novel I've started on.

And speaking of graphic novels/comics, I love your art style. It has a surprising amount of character and it's completely different from the style I'm good at.

I never really saw a use for the additional cost of EX, since there's tabs you could use for the same purpose, but then I only really work on one page at a time, so Pro is plenty for me. EX does have improved animation tools though. :)

I also wanted to try out the picture to drawing conversion thing in EX. I have over 14,000 photos I've taken over the years and I figure some of them might make good backgrounds if they're turned into illustrations. I wanted something cool to put behind the poetry I write and pictures converted to illustrations fit that well. I have tried it out and the result has been pretty neat.
